    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

Following up on my Koni debacle to give the final update. After getting the advanced replacement shock from Koni I was able to replace the defective one and dial in the damping. I settled on half turn from full open in the rear and full open front. (actually, still fine tuning the front, sweet...

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

I can’t say At this point I will say yes. That's because I've had a trying experience with the Konis. I tried dialining in the setup until I realized one of the shocks was faulty. The replacement has arrived and it's better but the setup is far from dialed in and at this point I'm tired of...

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

Another data point on Konis. One of the rear shocks is faulty. It's apparent when jacking up the car, with every pump of the jack the wheel hits the pavement with a thump. Typically you don't hear a wheel make a sound when jacking up a car. When I was turning up the rebound to two full...

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

Is there a compiled part number list of various springs for the model 3? The rear coils I have are 1044472-94-A (E3 RWD / P DM fitment per label). I see there are other like 1044472-00-A. I'm wondering if I'm "lucky" with extra stiff springs? And if I can source an alternative PN to soften up...

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

I'm up to 1 3/4 turns front and rear. There is like 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 turns total. The car is starting to feel good in terms of fast rebound. It is, however, far from that controlled BMW feeling I was used with the Koni Yellows on my old E46. I'm also starting to get more booming on bigger/square...

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

I'm up to 1 full turn in the rear and the rebound is still too fast. Not sure if I should go half turn or 3/4 turn to tame these springs. I'm going to be pushing close to max adjustment. Fronts are at 1 and 1/4 turn and are feeling pretty good. Hard to be certain until I tame the rears... _MK

    Koni Sport (yellow) installed!

I'm tuning my Koni Sportss. Went from MPP comfort coilovers to Konis. Put stock springs on (2019 M3P). Tried full open, rebound is way too fast; half turn on the rears, still feels fast. Not sure when I'll have a time window to add another half turn. Trimmed the bump stops to 2/3 length on...

    For Sale: Quick Jack 6000ELX

I would buy it but I'm in Santa Rosa. I don't suppose you have any plans for a trip to Sacramento or the Bay Area? :)

    I'm actually shocked at V11.3.4

FSD 11.3.4 installed this past weekend. I also notice a significant improvement. To add to what's said so far, there are a few annoying things that are prevalent. I live in Northern California, in Sonoma Co. Our roads are mostly in terrible shape and we have our unique structures. One of the...

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

(I'm new to the forum and can't edit a post I just submitted, pending mod approval so I'll add more in a separate post) The MPP spring rates are stiff, moreover, to get close to the factory ride height you have to preload the springs a ton (you turn in the adjusters, effectively compressing the...

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

Interesting thread. I put the MPP comfort non-adjustables on my M3P hoping for something close to a Koni Yellow feel I loved on my older beemer. Not the case, my experience matches Heckraiser pretty much to the T. I do find that dropping the tire pressure to 38psi helps a ton with the small...

Koni - Special Active (Red - Formerly FSD) and Sports (Yellow) - Coming Soon for Model 3 and Y

This is great news! I opted for the MPP comfort coilovers (non-adjustable) on my M3P hoping for that balance of street comfort and performance and I'm quite disappointed. The MPPs give an impression of belonging on a slammed car with their very high spring rate and relatively short stroke per...

    Model 3 performance OEM suspension

I'm about to pull the trigger for the MPP, curious to hear your take on the Performance OEM vs MPP? Sounds like you were borderline initially? Thanks. _MK
