I have different experience on my MYLR with 20k+ miles so far. Look like I can do another 20k+. They ride softer with good wet traction. They are less efficient as OEM Continental.

I have had the first gen for a little over a year now. They are much quieter than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons I had before. They are also MUCH more efficient than the Michelins.
How about following the manual? It says these tires are the best for the Tesla Vehicle. You should also look for the "T" (Tesla Approved) Symbol on the sidewall:

I had posted separately before.
In a nutshell, less mileage, harder ride, quieter than Contis.
I have the Ions now, so far so good
Hence the question which got this answer:"Error: This tire doesn’t fit your 255/45R19"

I will be putting Ions on my car tomorrow. Got 26k out of the Cont RX - could have gotten a few thousand more on them but one of them has developed a slow leak that I need to top off every few days. Looking forward to a better ride and longer range with the new Ions. Plus they have a 50k warranty (We'll see about that.)

Just a note - pretty early to tell with only 200 miles on them - but - it seems that they are a little quieter with less noise transferred when going over cracks in the highway. Couldn't tell about range, as I took all back roads and didn't take it over 60mph. - wanted to break the tires in before I open it up. The tread depth is about 10\32. Not real fond of the looks of the sidewalls, but the tread itself is pretty impressive. It did take three and a half weeks for my local tire shop to get them in.

Why disagree? I was just quoting the manual. Maybe you know something that the rest of us don't. @canbonbon - according to Goodyear's website, the Electricdrive 2 tires are not available in 255/45-19 size. Previous posters wanted to know what size Model Y owners that were running this tire were using, so they probably did not think suggesting a not available tire was useful.
He wasn't suggesting those tires - he was referencing the ProContact tires that are OEM and DO come in the right size. Not sure why folks were disagreeing with him, other than the fact that there are plenty of tires out there in this size that are appropriate for the MY, and are less expensive. I have Vredestein QuatracPro tires as my second set and have been happy with them after 15k miles. There were also $50 less per tire than the OEM's.
