Looking at each vehicles specs, capabilities etc it seems the S LR is the better performer. Why doesn’t the LR S qualify for the same badging as the new 3P? Looking forward to some side by side track tests.

I’m still trying to figure what the M3P badge is, is it different from a PLAID badge, what was its inspiration?

Edit: As far as I can tell, it's not possible to buy the Tequipment performance package for the Taycan Turbo S here in the United States, unlike the Track Package for the Plaid which is readily available. And you can't use the Tesla Track Pack on the street in Germany as the tires are illegal...

Slightly less than plaid speed but still faster than Light speed. So they gave it a warp speed badge without plaid colour.

Only the top trim vehicle in each line gets the special badging and features. The Model S LR doesn't get track mode either, despite being faster than a Model Y Performance (that does get track mode).

Didn’t say it was lol. The question was what is this new badge. It’s Ludicrous, which also happened to give the old P100D a 0-60 of 2.28 sec. For a 2 motor setup, pretty damm good’

Again never said it was. I’m only answering where the term came from. Not sure anyone asked what plaid was in relation lol
And they havnt actually released ludicrous option yet. I suspect when they do, as they did with MS initially, it will lower that 0-60. Not to P100D level but still worthy of the badge
