2012 Chevy Volt - Premium Trim - $9800 - Kansas City area

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to sell my 2012 Chevy Volt. It's black on black with red accents and most all the options, including premium trim, park assist, heated seats, Bose sound system, and navigation with DVD/CD player. I'm in the Kansas City area. Mechanically good, interior good, a few minor exterior blemishes. Roughly 71,500 miles, about 70% gas miles, as I've done a TON of highway travel in it. Mobile EVSE hasn't seen much use, as I have a J1772 charger that is used most of the time. Asking $9800.

The exterior blemishes include the following: A small tear and scrape in the front bumper cover, along with a crack in the right headlight lens due to a bump into another car. One rock chip in windshield. A few minor door dings from car doors.

This is a non-smoking car. Priced well under market because I'm hoping to sell quickly (compare it to other listings, Kelly Blue Book, and Edmunds).

Feel free to run a CarFax report on it. If you find anything negative in the CarFax report, please let me know about it so I can address it. I don't expect anything negative in the CarFax report, but I wasn't willing to spend $40 to check for myself.

EDIT -- Alright, I caved and ran a CarFax report. I'll save it for anyone who looks at the car. Nothing negative. CarFax price adjustment is +$740.

I can take that sticker off cleanly if you don't like it. It's on the glass portion of the hatch.

The first image below shows the absolute cheapest Volts on AutoTrader for comparison. The others show KBB and Edmunds valuations.

I might add I could potentially bring it as far as St. Louis, but it would need to be a pretty serious buyer.

It's also now listed on Cars.com. It's the least expensive Volt out of over 1700 listings, and more nicely equipped than most.

De-listed from Panjo out of concern over the Buy Now feature of Panjo. I don't want to be showing the car to someone and have a Panjo buyer buy it out from underneath of them. Still listed in other places.

How big of a deal do you think the headlight and bumper cover damage is? It's minor, so it would actually be easy to fix. Maybe I should fix it.
