Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
One of the issues I put on my service ticket during my X's visit last week was that my brake pedal had become very "squishy" and it now takes a lot more pressure to make the car come to a complete stop with the brake pedal. At first, they suggested I might need the new upgraded brake pads (for...
Without reading 60+ pages, has anyone discussed the vibration that happens when first driving the car after being parked for a while? This vibration seems to disappear after a few minutes. My take is that the air suspension compressor recharges the air in the tank, and the compressor vibration...
Not to sound rude, but you are comparing two different types of vehicles. The Sienna is a mini-VAN, not an SUV. Minivans are designed primarily for hauling stuff/people. The Model X is an SUV with a more aerodynamic shape for better overall range. It is also smaller than the Sienna. If you...
This issue isn't isolated to the Model Y. I have a 2022 Model X Plaid and complained about a rattle in the dash and the tech who test drove the car with me knew exactly what it was. It was this same brake pedal pin rattle.
Changing the way a device works should be an improvement. I have both a Model X Plaid and a Mini Cooper SE. I have to say that although I have learned to use the stalkless buttons on the Model X, using the stalks on the Mini is still easier and more intuitive. I don't think the yoke and...
I got the same "Steering assist reduced" on my 2022 MXP, and it wouldn't go away for three days. The car was steering normally, but I made a service request and the earliest date was a week out. The message went away after three days but returned four days later while I was in a carwash...
I think we all just need to put in service tickets in the app. If they see enough people complaining, maybe they will finally fix it. I too still have the issue.
This is normal. Once the seats go back beyond a specific point, you are hearing the locking mechanism click. This prevents the seats from moving forward during a crash. On the pre-refresh model X (I had a 2016), you would get a warning message on the center display if the seats were pushed...
Has anyone else had an issue with Spotify and Slacker stuttering when first getting in the car when it's asleep after the last firmware update? It will stutter for about a minute or two when I first pull out of my garage in the morning (or in a parking lot if the car has gone to sleep). Seems...
I got to be the guinea pig when I picked up my Signature Model S in October of 2012 from the factory and drove home to LA. There were only three chargers with only one stall at each location in Gilroy, Harris Ranch and Tejon Ranch. Back then, the guess-o-meter range predictions were scary, and...
Just an FYI I randomly put in a service request asking about the airbag recall, and they replied that they had them in stock and I had them replaced yesterday. So if you have a Model X and received the recall letter and never heard anything, put in a service request.
