Yea, a few threads about this issue already. Seems to affect Intel atom mcu2 vehicles. Also center usb ports are not working consistently, applicable for model 3 & y cars which have centers with data ability.

Same here. My usb music & game controllers are not working in center console usb (I have data capable usb ports) but everything seems fine if I use my glovebox usb. 2022 model y MCU 2 built 12/2021.

Try usb music or game controller devices…you’ll see they don’t work often anymore.

Are you sure you don’t have a model year 2022 and your vehicle production date was around mid 11/2021 or 12/2021. That’s when Tesla started using center console usb-c modules in model y which support power only.

@jmatero , I have CarPlay in my Tesla center screen via “Tesla Android Project”. I made my own raspberry pi 4B setup & own the bundle they sell but if you have a car older than 2021, you’ll need to buy the bundle they sell or make something similar with external WiFi antenna. www.teslaandroid.com .
