    Additional NC service centers?

True, but there was no relevant signage on or near the building. I will pass by there from time to time and keep you informed of any changes.

    Additional NC service centers?

118 Mcabee Court, Flat Rock NC is the impressive, block-long building in the photo below. The building seems to be complete, but empty. It is about one mile and two minutes northeast of the I-26 exits at Upward Road.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I agree with Sunwarriors. Additionally, investors like me are often interested in whether it's time to sell all or buy back in. Knowledgeable investors are valuable regardless of whether they (currently) own shares of TSLA. This forum would be more valuable if it had more discussion of facts and...

    Supercharger - Spartanburg, SC

Thanks very much for the update. Now, I am planning to use it tomorrow instead of going to Greenville.

Supercharger - Gainesville, FL - NW 39th Ave

To reiterate JAlbury825’s post above: Almost finished! Here are a few photos.

Supercharger - Gainesville, FL - NW 39th Ave

Construction is progressing. The site is easily available driving west on 39th Av (FL-222) and turning left at the Circle K gas station at the NW 92nd Court traffic light. Or, driving east passing I-75, going about one block, and turning right into the driveway between the Circle K and the...

    Current Delivery Times

A wall connector and any EVSC or cable needs to plug into a receptacle (which is connected to an electrical circuit/panel) or be hard-wired into an electrical circuit/panel. There must be a circuit breaker on the circuit to protect against short circuits, overload, overheating, fire and other...

    Current Delivery Times

Agreed. Over the last several years, my 50 amp 240v receptacles have charged my Model X and Model 3 more than adequately at 20-35 mph.

    Current Delivery Times

You will need/want a 240v receptacle. You may be able to simply use the cable that comes with the car to connect the receptacle to the charging equipment in the car. You probably do not need a separate charger (EVSE).

Many ChargePoint chargers are free, but you need a ChargePoint account to access them (RFID card or app). They are located in a number of publicly accessible parking lots. I am a Tesla owner who had used them a number of times and never had to pay.

    Model x for short people?

My wife is your size. She says she has no problem sitting on a cushion and driving the MX.

East coast road trip - Florida pickup

If you will be stopping overnight, stay at a hotel with a destination charger. This will allow you to leave in the morning with a full charge without spending any time at a supercharger.

    Supercharger - Gainesville, FL

Only about four units with charging cables had been roughed in as of March 15. Photo would not post here. These units are located off of SW 35th Blvd, across a driveway behind Chili’s and Starbucks, about five “blocks” east of I-75. Also, a Cheesecake Factory is scheduled to open adjacent to...

    Supercharger - Gainesville, FL

Your wish has been granted. These SCs are on the side of the Whole Foods, not in front. Also, as indicated in the photo, a reasonable distance from that building. There are four Chargepoint EVSEs in front, near the entrance and I have never seen more than one ICE in them. Of course, your...

Passenger doors slams shut on leg

Yes. This has occurred infrequently (but sometimes dangerously) with the driver’s door, the trunk and the FWDs.
