Best way to keep heat from coming through the sunroof?

I use reflective roll insulation under the glass and then put the shades on to help hold it in place. It looks great and is extremely effective. But, as noted above, heat will always get in. Insulation buys time, that's all. A/C (or at least the fan) will always be needed, but how much is...

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

Well, it would have been nice. What better way to showcase the capabilities of Tesla?

New Tesla Service Center and Showroom—Aliso Viejo, CA

Here are some pics from last weekend. Superchargers here would be a great showroom addition but it looks doubtful.

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

No posts here since the Supercharger team news? I wonder if they will be putting some here at the old Lowe's in Aliso Viejo. We just noticed this today. A new Service Center and/or showroom. Some tubes coming out of the ground, but it's not conclusive yet for chargers.

New power/regen bar is IM-POS-SIB-LE to see

Indeed! I'm glad I'm not the only "analog man" around.

New power/regen bar is IM-POS-SIB-LE to see

Right. That is annoying me as well, especially since the previous/next station button clicks remain bugged. I was just swiping up as it was so frustrating and now that capability is gone. And I agree re the regen/power bar. I run in dark mode but my hand partially blocks it. If I could (and...

Supercharger - Mission Viejo, CA - Crown Valley Parkway (LIVE 23 Dec 2021, 8 urban stalls, expansion in progress)

We drove by yesterday and noticed the same thing. I've been taking pictures but forgetting to post because it's been so frustrating. And now we have to wonder if there's anybody left to prod SDG&E to deliver the Transformer.

Three weeks vacation coming, should I leave my M3 plugged-in ?

I am going on vacation soon and looks like 50% is a good enough place to put our M3H (LFP) as the minimum while keeping it plugged in. I will target around 70%, per the charts above, and then set the minimum to 50%. Please LMK if there's any new data, but I expect the M3H LFP is similar to the...

    Cabin Overheat Protection - Necessary?

I'd much rather ditch any moon roofs and replace them with solar panels. As it is I have aftermarket reflective shades for the moon roof and half the rear roof of our Model 3. People say solar panels on the roof won't generate much and maybe that's true but half the benefit is keeping the heat...

Supercharger - Riverside, CA - 3190 Interchange St (permit, 24 stalls)

Just North of the 60/215 Interchange then. Just South would have been better I think, but we'll take it!

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Spectrum Center Dr (permit found)

Thank you. And looks like I'll need to resume my visits to Target in the Spectrum, especially since it shows issued now.

Supercharger - Anaheim Hills, CA (permit issued, 16 V3 stalls)

Indeed. I recommend updating the title of the thread. @bmah

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

It is and yes we installed one a year ago or so, even before they got an EV.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA - Clairemont Mesa Blvd (LIVE 17 Apr 2024)

Wow. I went to school very near here, but rarely venture this far South these days. I did when my parents had a downtown condo, years ago.
