Ambient lighting - reflections in the windscreen

Agree it's a stupid design, something I noticed immediately (as well as sloppy steering). Also mentioned here. You could wrap it? Probably easy enough to do yourself... PS did you get the Stealth Grey?

    [UK] 2024.20 Software Update

Police - "Sir why are you just driving back and forth on this dark single track country lane?" boombap - "I just got the latest incremental update to my car and was testing whether a new feature is activated by steering or is vision based" Police - 😐 boombap - "Look at the pixels changing on the...

UK Black M3P with tints and chrome delete

Quicksilver is back on the menu for Ys, I saw one a few days ago. I like my grey with the silver trim, grey and silver looks good IMO and compliments the silver alloys. Would you wrap it silver?

    Glare from Dash (Aluminium frame)

I noticed it when I test drove it, maybe it was the weather conditions but it wasn't subtle. I don't understand why they couldn't position it better so it didn't reflect. Or just not make it out of shiny silver material.

Interesting, not seen that. I don't like how you can see a lot of the underneath colour around the edges, doesn't look neat or complete. I think this thread is mainly for chrome trim alteration.

My guy took the mirrors apart, it certainly helps. Not sure what this means, can you rephrase it?

Chiming in because I have had my trim, handles, mirrors etc wrapped. The mirrors are the hardest bit, no doubt. I had to have two areas redone, there's a particularly tricky patch because of the curve, angle, and small amount of purchase that means it lifts really easily. Overall he did a good...

    Awkward cabin filter change

I did it on my 2020 and have no intention of doing it again, would rather pay someone £40 than get my Mission Impossible theme music out again and contort myself around the pedals whilst swearing profusely as I drop a screw for the fourth time. I changed mum's Audi A1 and dad's twenty year old...

    Model 3 Dechrome

If you go to a proper wrapper they can do anything for you, mine are a blue colour shift that changes as you move. I also had a bit added where the spoiler goes. They'll just buy a sheet of material and cut as they go. The stealth looks on many cars is saturated now and just makes me think me...

    Model 3 Dechrome

It's window trim, door handles, side cameras. There's a place that fully wraps the handles, it doesn't seem necessary but it's possible. Mine are wrapped so there is original handle showing on the back, no issues.

    Human beings can be amazing!

At the funeral of a school friend who died in a warzone in my early twenties I felt very sober and still within, it made me reflect on my life, that affect lasted about two days before I was back to the usual routine. For me buying a Tesla and being part of this forum is a lot of fun, it's not...

    Model 3 Dechrome

Ask them what material they use. I went with a brand called Orafol, £350, local guy, very good value. I also had another quote of £450. City areas charge more. How someone could quote you £900 just for dechrome is laughable.
