    Model Y comfort suspension?

I inflate the tire 38 psi cold instead of the recommended 42 psi. Also using the Gemini wheels which are thicker and softer than the 20 inch upgrades. It is better now, but not as smooth as our Mercedes or Audi Q5. I know the upcoming revised Model 3 has softer suspension which will probably...

    NEW Model 3 Highland review!

Nice update, but too many changes and new parts. Better to wait a year or more when all the new bugs are ironed out.

I thought CT's design was suppose to simplify building, even make it cheaper.

I feel like with the first batches of CT, the general public will be too curious and start testing the CTs exoskeleton and glass by throwing heavy objects at randomly park Cybertrucks.

Model Y - MATRIX LED HEADLIGHTS?

Why did Tesla even install matrix headlights? Tesla vehicles aren’t even program to take advantage of Matrix headlights.

I thought CT's design was suppose to simplify building, even make it cheaper.

Elon has said a number of times the CT is very difficult to build. Difficult to build probably results in higher production cost, until they find efficiencies and streamline more processes.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

I haven’t been keeping track with the refresh Model 3 news. Are there any improvements besides HW4? From what I have read it is basically a cost cutting update with a updated look. Same range, mcu, suspension, motors, etc… My guess is no new tech will be introduced, just an updated look?

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I wonder with all the changes in FSD, how long before FSD surpasses HW3 capabilities and those who want full fsd will need hw4 or higher.

How does FSD handle these 4 types of toll booths?

that has always been one of my worries, and what is keeping me from subscribing to FSD, along with potholes and small road objects like shredded truck tires, rocks, dead animals and cars driven by drunk drivers swerving unpredictably along the highway.

How does FSD handle these 4 types of toll booths?

    1. with a person you have to pay tolls to 2. drive through toll booths with no person just license plate sensors 3. decommission toll booths which are still in the middle of the highway 4. A group of toll booths with some entrances blocked by traffic cones I'm quite certain with 1 you have to...

how safe do you feel with basic autopilot?

Does basic AP avoid potholes and objects on the road like shredded truck tires or small objects like fallen pieces of a tree or dead/living animals?

how safe do you feel with basic autopilot?

From what I understand basic AP is its own separate code. In the future it will use a subset of the FSD code? Which means right now basic AP code is frozen and isn’t getting the improvements of FSD development. Is this right?

how safe do you feel with basic autopilot?

I never feel at ease when my Tesla is in autopilot. I’m always extra alert as if a child is driving the car. From what I read it is supposedly very safe and very capable of highway driving. What is your comfort level when on basic autopilot?

For those with range anxiety in hotter temperatures

I think most of the EV range loss is from cold weather, not hot weather. That is why Tesla created a new heat pump, to extend range during winter driving.

    Autopilot Failed me!

Auto steer is still on beta, which probably means it needs more dojo training. I never use autopilot with auto steer, never felt comfortable putting my life on the line with beta software. I know many are perfectly ok with the risk, just be extra attentive when using autosteer.

How much are you willing to pay for FSD V12?

Yes, you are not the driver but are the co-driver meaning another primary driver who must be prepared to intervene at any time FSD cannot handle the situation. So driving to work could be FSD driving 50% of the way and the co-driver driving the other 50%. Level 3 isn’t set your destination and...
