    Battery health test

Could you explain how you got 12/88% then? The battery health test came back at 86% health, and the UI shows 280 mile range at 100%. I did (280 / 0.86 = 330)

    Battery health test

So I finally ran this test for the first time on my 08/2018 build P3D+ with about 71,000 miles. Starting conditions was around ~4:10 PM - 29% SOC. Test health came back at 86%, 280 miles range. Some recommendations & observations: Service App Recommends turning off the following, and I...

Tesla should offer Range Extenders for Rental

After hearing about the latest range tests (250 miles for the AWD variant @ 70 MPH and 45F) it makes me really question the usability of the truck as a camper and vacation vehicle, and even the latest tow tests (~150 miles towing a Model Y with Tonneau cover open,TL;DW: 110 mile trip, 83 kWh...

    Powerwall Firmware 23.44.0 eb113390

Some reason my Powerwall-Dashboard (from JasonCox) died about a week ago, and my powerwall gateway firmware is still 23.36.3 not yet 23.44 .0 like others, but I haven't been able to get it communicate again. I definitely experienced the rate lockout issue from failed auth's and had to swap wifi...

What will you do with your Cybertruck reservation?

I pre-ordered early on and doubt I'll get the original marketted pricing. WIll be really interesting to see if they honor original pricing.

Tesla should offer Range Extenders for Rental

This thing is huge, and for the majority the owners, this is only needed once in a blue moon. I think many folks could use the extra range from time to time, but not all the time but for that 1-2% of the year (3-5 days of the year), I think it would be extremely helpful to be able to rent the...

Gruber Motors responses to BMS_u029 error message

Is this your first pack replacement, if not how long did you have your previous pack?
  9. Jedi2155

    Who gets reservations filled first?

For the CT, when you first preordered you had to select a Trim level. I believe they removed that option a few months or a year later. Geography will definitely remain #1 I suspect, with Texas reservation holders going first followed by California and other states where they have a good service...

Tesla battery longevity not affected by frequent Supercharging, study says

How many miles do you have on that pack o.o? And what is your charging/storage behavior? Is it basically in a frozen mountain somewhere?

2022 LR Model 3: 358 miles EPA range?

SR+ has LFP batteries LR AWD has NMCA batteries LR P has NCA batteries
  12. Jedi2155

Is it more cost effective to charge at 48 amps or 32amps?

The real answer is that the onboard AC-DC charger has different efficiencies at various power levels combined with parasitic losses of the vehicle being powered. It's been a long time since someone has actually measured the differences. Most power supplies (i.e. the charger) have an efficiency...

2022 LR Model 3: 358 miles EPA range?

Its because it has a Panasonic NCA battery with 358 miles of range. New LR AWD Model 3's have LG NMCA batteries.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Based on this video the latest M3P (Pirelli P7) still beats the EV6 GT (Goodyear F1). I'd argue if the Tesla had Michelin PS4S tires it'd probably a hair faster as well. Wider tires on the GT at 255/40R21 vs 235/35R20. EV6 GT started 83% and ended at 76%. M3P started at 83% and ended at 78%...
