Thought I'd get this thread going, popped up on the Tesla find us site this week. Looks like Acworth GA, is getting a second supercharger. Much needed as the existing V2, has capacity problems...

Today when I got in the Y the touchscreen would not work at all. I did a soft reset and all was fine, but when I went into the app to schedule service for the screen I saw this alert as well. I’m in warranty so all is good there, but these issues shouldn’t be happening on a 4 month old car.

Stopped by today on my way to check out the East Point v4 station. 16 stalls with a separate transformer and meter. Really not a lot of people here. Just one other car out of 16 stalls when the one across the parking lot was on a wait.

Checked out the station today. I will say it’s a bit tough getting the handle out of the magic dock adapter. Took me a couple tries. I only used the handicap space for the picture I didn’t take one up😂

Gosh those charging posts are massive. I can't wait to check this site out when it goes online. As someone who's vertically challenged at 5'7", standing next to those SC's are going to be humbling to say the least.

He was there when I was charging on October 19th. Those thousands in idle feeds he might rack up are definitely not helping his lease payments.

The V4s are equipped with the 1000v version of the NACS connector so the handle is slightly bigger and has a larger “drop off” from the handle to the actual connector which gets interred into the car. This might make no sense but it’s the best I could do with words.

Note that a new supercharger in Ozona Tx Is being installed across the street from the existing quality inn site, in a sonic parking lot. This site may be treated like Van Horn Tx and close the old SC in favor of the newer Gen 3/4...

I agree, with the lack of transformer (which I think is Tesla's choice rather than a utility issue), and the testing with a generator. All of which wasn't done in sparks NV or in Alabama where there is a v4 installation with a transformer and V3 cabinets, leads me to think that Tesla might be...

Stopped by at about 10:30pm on. 10/21/23. Little to no change on construction progress.

Is it just me or should these be installed the other way. If a Tesla driver were to back in they would be forced to use the cable of the charger with it's "back" to them. Effectively taking up 2 stalls. These are still TESLA superchargers after all, and owners should come before compatibility...

If the transformer wasn’t expected at least sometime soon wouldn’t they cover the conducts going into the ground?
