Is this Model S a good deal or keep looking?

AP1 is good for what it is. And the fact that it doesn’t change is good thing in my book. Predictable and stable. I think the rest of these points are valid, but if you really want an S, get the S.

    Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Tires Preliminary Review - '21 Model 3 Performance

Bumping this thread now that winter is basically over - has anyone driven these in the snow? Looks like the snow ratings are meh on tire rack.

Expired 2016 Model S 90D, 58k miles, Midnight Silver Metallic, PPF, ceramic coating, tint [Expired]

Any chance you'd sell the roof rack separately (is it OEM)? Beautiful car - GLWS.

    AP1 ONLY Please -- life after 2018.50.6

It make sense that this configuration would fly below the radar for a while - there are a lot less cars on the road with it and “Highway Autopilot” works better on the highway where it is expected to. AP1 was a big plus for me when I bought my 2016 a few years ago. I hope the changes to it are...

    2016 Model S 90D Wheel question

They come staggered, but you might be able to find a square setup. 245/35 - 21 and 265/35 - 21.

    2016 Model S 90D Wheel question

This is why I bought the Arachnids honestly - they are really strong and don’t seem to mind the potholes. Also minimal hit to range.

    2016 Model S 90D Wheel question

Armor black Arachnids? They are forged, lightweight, and look awesome.

    202X Roadster Delay Legal Action?

It sounds like you know this company well, so you probably already know that Tesla promises things it doesn’t know if it can deliver. FSD is the obvious example, but the Cybertruck specs are another recent one. Whether to get the refund depends on things only you know and can decide, but unless...

    Review of 057 Technology Warranty

There’s been a lot of questions and activity on this topic the past few weeks. Few clear answers from what I can tell. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/057-technology.313708/page-12#post-7900482

    057 Technology

I think this product is just really different. Battery failure makes owning a Model S not viable for many people. A few in this thread bought the car expecting to be covered by this plan in that event. Those people currently don’t know if they can afford the car they are driving. I...

    057 Technology

Imagine paying for this battery warranty, thinking your are covered, and then having a failure right now. You are either paying 15k for a new battery yourself and suing to get reimbursed or not driving your car while this plays out. I agree with the earlier sentiment that there’s just no...

    Another Winter Tires thread

Just ordered the Blizzak LM-005s from tiresrack after watching several British “tyre” review videos. They are quiet and range seems good. No snow to test yet. Wear is my biggest concern.

My battery failed after only 3K miles

It is pure marketing at this point. It takes some time to get used to the Tesla oversell (and the fanboy tendencies of some owners), but they are really good cars despite that. Odds are you will get a new battery and be good to go for a while. There’s enough of these on the road now to say...

    Market value for Plaid

I think anyone on this forum has done at least SOME research before buying. We have some very knowledgeable people on this forum that I suspect forget that not everyone follows the history of Tesla price drops and model changes. These happen in a way that’s different than any other car...

    Market value for Plaid

Not everyone wants to do a research project before they buy a car. That’s great that you can, but when people who don’t are surprised by something like that his and decide not to buy another Tesla nobody should be surprised by that. Capitalism works both ways after all.
