    ChargePoint home not as advertised

Thanks drb3333 …for the only non troll reply. Tesla shows 11kw both inside and on the app. ChargePoint shows 11.5kw on their app but the math only adds up to 11.35kw. It sucks it won’t over clock to 12kw as I had thought, but 11 is better than 10. This post was both a question and information...

    ChargePoint home not as advertised

I already posted that. I posted a link to Tesla showing a max 11.5kw/48amp. I already posted that ChargePoint advertised …no idea where you get “someone told you”. I posted ChargePoint support verified 50amp/12kw before installation. I am not getting Tesla’s max 11.5kw. I also already posted...

    ChargePoint home not as advertised

Installed HomeFlex hardwired CH50 with NEMA connector. I was told it needed two 4gauge cables and either 70 or 80 amb breaker, but the unit only accepts 6 gauge and 80 is not legal here. 70amp achieves the same results according to the instruction booklet. I pay the extra $100 to bump up from...

    Car wash mode fail

I didn’t know about the long press or upward selector pull. I will have to try that. I prefer the mirrors unfolded, otherwise they don’t get cleaned. So besides neutral, the only step missing is turning off the wipers.

Any recommendations to help make an automated car wash a less stressful experience?

Stressful is an understatement! 🤯 So like easy entry I had to figure it out myself with trial and error. I hate the belt because it can damage the rims. I’ve only ever found one brushless car wash that actually cleans the car and it’s 1.5hrs away. All the rest leave the sides dirty. So for...

    M3LR MPP BBK install

Tin snips are needed for the dust shield removal. Allen head socket for the new bolts to the aluminum adapter. Unless on lift, 1/2” torque wrench is way to big. There is still a finger depth clearance with 19” rims.

    M3LR MPP BBK install

Ok, after even more searching I found … MPP’s BBK install page Tesla Mark install But until I saw this one I’ve never heard of E-torx (E-18) and don’t have them. T-30 for the dust shield removal. ZevCentric’s MPP BBK install which covers more torque specs

    M3LR MPP BBK install

I found the install video … Pagemill 365mm BBK install I can’t understand all the torx sizes, which I need to know beforehand. It also does not mention any torque specs. I’ve done this myself on all my cars and even though I’m a bit older I don’t want to pay a shop to do it.

    M3P Brakes on LR

I thought this had to have been before. Might as well go 2 price light weight rotors. From what I understand the calipers are only larger for the larger rotors. Both are Brembo and unless it’s not listed both have the same pistons? Can you explain the plug you mentioned? …any pictures of it...

Vendor Redwood Motorsports Model 3 / Model Y RW-S5 Cyclone Wheels *Official Thread*

Had mine installed today with Michelin’s and it feels like an Audi now …thank you! It might be in my head but it feels like better acceleration as well. If anyone replaced the lug nuts with black ones did you go longer (as I believe they are a thicker diameter and not sure it leaves clearance...

    Model 3 Replacement Wiper Blades

I just purchased also. It’s a pair in one box and most store sell them separately. Best way is Oder online with the auto parts store you prefer and it will direct you to the store that has in in stock. If not, it may be another day to get from their warehouse. It was like $25. Has a tiny gold...
