FSD 12 perspective from a previous skeptic

I tested FSD a few times in past 3 days. What a joke. I will write a summary. It is at most alpha.

    Sentry mode power requirement

Think about a ARM based system + 4 cameras. Seven kWhs a day is too much.

    Sentry mode power requirement

I don't think a laptop with 4 cameras and a few sensors need that amount of power.

    All-Season tire recommendations for a 2023 LR Model X

You got 37k with OEM tires and they are still running? That's impressive.

iPhone cannot connect to bluetooth, very annoying

2022 LR refresh. My iPhone 14 PM (not set as primary) is being used as car key and never had any issue for that purpose, but most of the time when I drive alone (daughter's iPhone was set to primary) the iPhone cannot be connected to play sound. Now matter how I try to connect from both side. I...

The Cybertruck is more expensive to supercharge than a Ford F-150 costs in gas

In California, you can use grid as free storage. I am with NEM2.0, so I pay $10/month grid fee, and 2-3 cents delivery fee for every kWh I send to grid and use later. And we do yearly billing. Let's say I genated 10k kWh, I used 5000 kWh directly, and those 5000 kWh sent to grid was used later...

80 Amp Charing for Cybertruck, Tesla WC Gen 4?

That situation is for DC charging anyway.

Cybertruck AC L2 charging onboard charger specs

It is enough and 11 hours from 0-100%. If that's not enough, look for a DC charger.

The Cybertruck is more expensive to supercharge than a Ford F-150 costs in gas

96% for me and it is free due to Solar panels. I doubt OP has an EV.

80 Amp Charing for Cybertruck, Tesla WC Gen 4?

CT battery capacity is ONLY 120kWh and 48A charger can add 11kWh per hour which is fast enough.

New EPA calculated range for 2024. LR is now 335 miles

Finally I had a chance to charge it to 100% (99% actually) because I seldom use X for road trip and mostly use it in town. I was able to charge it to 99% and it shows 340 miles. If I charge it to 100% probably it would reach around 341-342 miles. This is more than new EPA 335 miles rating. So I...

New EPA calculated range for 2024. LR is now 335 miles

Not worrying, just some data point. I drove 10k miles in 19 months and energy report is always 260-290 wh/mile. And 80% soc always shows 278 miles until December which is 270 miles. So I suspect it is because of new update. But of course I could be wrong.

New EPA calculated range for 2024. LR is now 335 miles

Temperature is not the reason. I have been changing to 80% and range shows 278 miles all the time until last December. Then I noticed it is 270 miles instead of 278 miles now. I am FAIRLY sure it is not battery degradation although I was expecting that. I don't think suddenly system start to...
