    Netzero App

It’s happens from time to time that we get negative pricing on Octopus Agile so I think most people just load-shift rather than doing things that are too crazy. Nice to get paid to charge my car though 😀

    Netzero App

Hi @offandonagain, many thanks for the app and Octopus Agile support. It seems to be working great. We have negative buy prices on the Octopus Agile tariff this afterrnoon. (Surplus of wind and solar power predicted.) Does NetZero handle this okay? And does the Tesla app support it? In the...

Wiki UK and Ireland Supercharger Site News

Dropped my car off today at Milton Keynes Service Centre on Merton Drive. 12 chargers, but no big green box.

    [UK] 2024.14.x

Release notes for my car show Trip Progress Bar, Audible, Spotify Queue and Playback Speed, Better Route Available, Minor fixes and Security updates.

    [UK] 2024.14.x

I haven’t driven it yet. Premium Connectivity was standard back in my day 😄 Not in the release notes or any menus though, so I don’t expect it to be there. Maybe they have to work out the UI for binnacle display?

    [UK] 2024.14.x

So you did get the speed camera alerts and average speed zone support? I’m not seeing them on my Model S with MCU2 / Intel Atom ☹️

2024.14.6 installing on my Model S with MCU2. Release notes in the app don’t include speed camera chime or average speed zones. ☹️

    Netzero App

Thank you for the app updates for No Export tariff. It is working well for me. The recent Octopus Agile pricing has had no clear “off peak” period, with similar prices overnight and during the afternoon. For example: The Powerwall seems to have some strange (or very marginal) behaviour...

    Netzero App

Hi @offandonagain, I've just started using the app and tried the dynamic rate plan for Octopus Agile. I don't know how you prefer feedback but I raise a GitHub issue: Dynamic rate plan: allow no export tariff · Issue #10 · netzero-labs/netzero We have a legacy solar export contract called a...

Powerwall / battery storage: can you share how you use it with UK energy tariffs?

Thanks @Mark_T, I’ll give that a go. I have a similar setup with Zappi, Octopus etc. I haven’t tried the Tesla Custom Integration yet. I didn’t know Powerwall was not subject to Fleet API.

Powerwall / battery storage: can you share how you use it with UK energy tariffs?

Hi @Mark_T, can you share which Home Assistant Tesla integration you are using, and perhaps the automation rules? I was just reading this, and it’s getting rather involved now the older API has been deprecated. https://github.com/alandtse/tesla?tab=readme-ov-file#tesla-fleet-api-proxy

[UK] Report that Tesla not going to produce low cost “Model 2”

Robotaxi and a cheaper Model 2, would seem to be orthogonal products. Surely they have the engineering capacity to do both? They’ll need cheaper vehicles - or serious price cuts on the current line-up - to counter new vehicles from other manufacturers and to increase the TAM

    UK FSD Discussion

It will be interesting to see if Robotaxi comes with a different sensor architecture. LIDAR seems unthinkable for Elon, but I expect more cameras and in different locations to ensure full visibility with zero blind spots. And a new Autopilot computer is almost certain, for more compute...

    UK FSD Discussion

I haven’t watched many FSD beta videos. Does it seem like it performs better on USA highways, than the phantom braking that is often seen on UK motorways? I’ve pretty much given up on seeing FSD in the UK, but I DID expect (hope?) autopilot to get better in the UK as a side effect. It feels...
