With the S and X, only the original owner can get the tesla extended warranty (ESA). I presume the 3 will be the same...so being a second owner does have a potential disadvantage.

Is your 2013 still under factory warranty? Perhaps one idea is ask the soon-to-be new owner if they want the ESA (extended warranty)?
