Master Thread: Definitive 14-50 NEMA Outlet Guide

Quick update and 2 cents from my end: I replaced my Leviton ($10) outlet that was running hot lately with the Bryant ($50). I know Bryant is definitely better than the Leviton but I plan on charging with a 16A setting anyways. Sufficient rate for my daily use when I charge overnight.

To protect the screen or not to?

Not using a screen protector but using a sunshade on my windscreen when parked for long time outside

Time to disable bluetooth as a key?

I would not worry about bluetooth keys, even if they would drive away, the car is always trackable through the app. They would need to hack into the car's computer so that it does not transmit its location.

    Heatmap for parking

Even after the FSD trial expires, you will have vision-based Park assist, it came with the latest software update. My FSD trial expired, and I still have vision-based Park assist. Please note that this is not Autopark, it is basically just showing the "heatmap" you mentioned in your original post.

    Heatmap for parking

I also own a 2022 Model 3 and park assist (the "heatmap" you mentioned) became available to my car with the latest software update. You need to enable it though from your settings.

    Navigation on the iPhone app

Something is not right here. Just for a test, I uninstalled Apple Maps from my iPhone, and the navigation in the Tesla App still functioned, i.e., the navigation was still shown within the Tesla app including charging stations. Something else in your iPhone settings might be off

Model 3 Highland or Model Y?

Tough decision and really a personal choice. I would just schedule back-to-back test drives of both cars on the same day. Take them for a spin and then decide. You cannot go wrong either way, both have their advantages and disadvantages. Best of luck!

    Navigation on the iPhone app

I would try the following to see if it does remedy your issue: 1. Check your iOS version. Is it 17.4.1 ? If not, upgrade your iOS. 2. Check your Tesla app version, the latest version is 4.32.6. If yours is not up-to-date, then update it from the app store. 3. If at this point your problem still...

    Navigation on the iPhone app

This does not happen on the Tesla app on my iPhone 14 (latest iOS and latest version of Tesla App). I do the following: 1. Go to Tesla App 2. Select Location 3. Select Navigate and enter address 4. Route shows up with charging stations stops and option to "Send to Car" Hope this helps.

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

Both the old and new fronts are OK for me but I just wish they had kept the fog lights (at least as an option) for the new car

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

Great car at a great price/benefit ratio. Would have definitely ordered it if I were in the market right now. Meanwhile, I am patiently waiting for Tesla to drop the current price ($2K) on the acceleration boost for the M3LR so that my 0-60 becomes 3.7s :)

All I can say after almost 6 years of ownership

Oh OK, that might be it why they charge you more than $58+tax for the air filter mobile service. I scheduled through the app and the service center is about 30 miles from my address.

$58 is correct, I had it recently done with mobile service. $61.50 including tax
