Where did you see 70%? The link shows "Please return your EV with its battery charged to at least 10%." (I don't know if they just updated that.) Do they charge you to charge it back up when you return it?

Yeah, every third spot is unused in the garage as cars don't fit. Now I'm worried the car will show available chargers but you won't be able to charge as you can't get to the charger.

If a third of your mirror image is your car; you are adjusting the mirrors wrong. You need to mirrors to see other cars, not your car.

Which rebate are you applying for? Some state that they require J1772 but when you read the requirements, Tesla HPWC are acceptable. I had the same thought when I did my LADWP rebate a few years ago - I thought it needed to be a J1772 but was able to get the rebate for the HPWC.

The S/X have the binnacle so they don't need to waste space in the center screen with the speedometer, gear selection and other info. If they use the same display the S/X will have 1/3 of the center screen useless with redundant information.

Hotel didn't have destination charging and didn't ask about plugging into 120v (I'm not even sure how much charge you can do overnight in 20º temperatures). I had a back up plan in case the charge got too low.

Pretty much all the retailers there validate for a minimum of one hour. There's a Starbucks, Robek Juice & Ben & Jerry's so plenty of choices. Unfortunately, parking booth hours are 24/7 so no free parking to charge during discounted rates.

I have had those same struts since May 2019 with no issues. As far as the hood opening while driving, even with the standard struts, if you are travelling at any normal speed and the latch isn't secure, it will blow the hood open.
