Tesla Wall Connector - Partial Blue and Green Lights

Thanks for the reply back Mike! I did that and I believed it worked. Let me explain. I have a Model 3 RWD but I had my Tesla Wall Connector left at the 60A setting default. So as part of the recycle, I set it at 40A instead. I don't see the partial blue light anymore. I forget what the...

Tesla Wall Connector - Partial Blue and Green Lights

Has anybody seen the Wall Connector displaying both the blue and green lights displaying at the same time? Would recycling the circuit break fix this? Or is a defect and has to be replace? My primary concern is about safety too. The unit and cable feels cold (for being in the garage). So...

    Slow Tire Leak

Hi everyone, I suspect my passenger rear tire has a slow leak. I filled it a couple of times and the next day it would drop a couple of pounds. Last time I filled it to 43 when it was hot and the next day it was about 39 when it is cold. This happened twice. Keep in mind the other 3 tires don't...

    Question about electricity consumption

Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess the car is asking for 32 amps and that's what I'm consuming and that's what I get charged for. Likewise, a hair dryer that plugs into an outlet asks for more electric so it consumes more and be billed more compared to a lighter household appliance...

Does Checking on the car in the Tesla App drain the battery?

Thanks, how long does it stay "up" before it goes back to sleep?

    Question about electricity consumption

I just had a Tesla Wall Connector installed. I have the max output current set at 48 amps. I drive a RWD which charges at max with 32 amps. If I charged my car for 1 hour. Would the electricity bill be the same if I had the max output current set at 48, 40, or 32?

Does Checking on the car in the Tesla App drain the battery?

Please humor me for a second. I'm curious about 1 mile drops on my SOC after I park. I don't have sentry mode on, nor do I have cabin overheat protection on. When I do park, whether it's at home or work the car is in the immediate vicinity. My Tesla phone app would show connected in the...

    What's the blue thing here?

What the blue mean here at the end of the green line? Thanks.

How do get these Drive Stats to show?

Thanks! With the hint of the name, Trip Card, I was able to figure it out. It's the checkmark-like box to the left of the phone icon along the bottom. Tapping it displays the cards. The cards can be retracted by swiping down.

Model 3 RWD with Tesla Mobile Connector?

Thanks guys! Lots of great information here. I'm sure others will find it useful as well. I ended up opening up a 15amp outlet thinking there's a chance the 20amp breaker was wired to there. But upon opening, I saw white wiring. I was told white is for a 15amp circuit and yellow is for 20amp...

    Charge Stats > Other

Yea, I wanted my home charging to appear under Home and not unde Other. Ended up updating my home address for my profile via the car's screen.

Model 3 RWD with Tesla Mobile Connector?

Just had my RWD for a week now. Charging with the 5-15 for now. I'm a little confused. Thought I would need to get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in the garage. But the RWD handles only 32 amps max for charging. Do I go with the 14-50 because I'm under the impression that it feeds 40 amps...
