Garage smoke detectors and home insurance for home charging.

I had my home security company place a smoke and heat detector in my garage. The installer told me there are insurance companies requiring fire detection in garage if you have an electric car. Has anyone been told this by their Home Owners Insurance company?

FSD has detailed map display. Will we loose that?

The FSD free trial includes the detailed full view map display of all lanes and oncoming traffic. It would be very nice if after' the free trial ends my MYLR would keep that function. Will it? I guess time will tell. I am not fond of the limited display I had before of only' right side road details.

Double Pull Selection Deactivated with FSD, Cruise Control not available.

I just got the free trial of FSD on my Model Y LR. My gripe is you do not have a double pull option with FSD activated. Only Single Pull. Cruise Control cannot be accessed unless you completely deactivate the FSD selection and go back to Beta. Is there another get around. In Beta you have the...

Is 100% charge on MYLR once a month good for extended battery life?

Ok I was at the Tesla Service Center and with my 2023 MYLR manufactured in Austin. The service rep told me it was a good idea to charge to 100% once a month to extend battery life. I have also read and seen videos this is necessary to do once in a while to balance battery. And drain battery to...

    Tire Road Hazard Warranty?

Continental Tires offers a road hazard warranty. Has anyone ever made a claim? I just got a nail and the tire service I used could not guarantee the plug and patch due to the glue on the inside of tire used for holding the foam insulation. Tires are expensive, and I only have 2000 miles on 'em.

Can you alter primary Route on navigation?

When I select a destination, Tesla navigation will only give me one route. What if I want to use another route? Do I have to select an intermediate stop to force it on my' preferred route? Or is there another way to move route over to the way I want to go? Thx. Tony

OK I HAVE THE ANSWER!!! My Wife's iPhone 12 would not stay connected. It continuously dropped or she had to activate her Tesla app over and over to get into the car when she was alone, and then it would disconnect while she was driving causing numerous warnings. Mine always would work because I...

When the doors are locked everything goes dark while charging. Is the screen restricted from going dark when charging or plugged in, and car is...
