I use the instant acceleration of my Performance every time I drive. The immediate power on tap gives me confidence when passing and merging. It is intoxicating.

These ReverseLogic ones (magnetic) will not fall out.

That was my earlier point. I have similar jack pads (see picture above) and together with my floor jack, they are too thick and cannot fit underneath my M3P. YMMV may vary with other versions of the M3.

I did not realize that. No wonder all the other jack pads fall out.

I’ll sell you this aluminum Porsche jack. Its shaped to fit the M3 and it’s much lighter.

I used the Prime SP-9610, I tested it "as-is" and it worked fine but I chose to cut 2.5 coils to make it the same length as the stock spring so it had a little more tension when unsprung.

Actually, it's a really good question. I used a compound wire cutting pliers that my Dad purchased decades ago. I might try long handled bolt cutters. It was a little tricky as I needed to cut a coil, separate it then cut the next coil. Bending the last one up also took a little work.

Just installed a lighter spring, Prime-Line SP-9610, 5/8"(16mm) x 2.5"(6.4cm) x .072(1.8mm),19.1 lbs. I cut 2.5 coils off to make the length similar to the original spring. It is definitely much easier to close and so far, consistently pops the frunk. I have not replaced the frunk struts...

My setup .. I assembled a 128GB M.2 SSD which is partitioned into 20GB for music and 100GB for TeslaCam. The SSD is plugged (USB-C to USB-A) into a three port Sabrent USB 3.0 Hub and velcro'ed to the underside of the mobile phone dock. So far its been very reliable.

There is a Background Refresh setting for Stats. Personally, I keep it off as I do not have the need for real time data collection. Stats also has a widget which you can tap to awaken the car. I think it collects data then as well.

I have been using Stats. The author claims that avoiding phantom drain was his top priority, I can see my car sleeping regularly and even the widget needs me to tap it to wake the car up so Stats can get the latest data. I have not seen it waking it up regularly to get data but only on demand.

Same here. For me, the quality is noticeably better. Also I find the music management better and easier. Now I don’t have to unlock my phone and use my phone to pick music. Much safer.

I have been running an SSD partitioned for music and TeslaCam for 3 months w/o any issues. I think there were corruption issues with earlier versions of firmware.

I think the Tesla camera software wants to write to a dedicated logical drive. Many people myself included, have partitioned a single physical drive into two logical drives, using one for camera data and the other for music.
