    Tesla Toolbox Software

Tesla just grants access to diagnostic software for independent repairers in EMEA markets.

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

That's the reason why it might be a good idea to follow the threads title and do a preventive replacement.

how to buy Tesla Toolbox ? and from where ? and which program

@rothman About one year ago I had a service.teslamotors.com subscription (registered for a European company) because I thought it would be possible to access Toolbox site but support told me there is no Toolbox for independent operators. Your screenshot was taken from a user with bodyshop...

how to buy Tesla Toolbox ? and from where ? and which program

no that's not possible - there is no connection between the service and the toolbox site.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

The smartest way to get eMMC dump would be to put tegra in USB recovery (RCM/APX) mode and send a payload.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

If you don't know your equipment you should check with voltage meter before. I would expect the adjusted voltage between V+ and V-, on most PSU's GND is earth and suitable to connect your antistatic mat/wristband - so you can forget GND and interconnect V-.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

It's a fact that Tesla offers the worst possible service to independent repairers/operators in the whole automotive world. I don't know any other company that refuses the access to diagnostic software, tools and parts in that way.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

ok, I would recommend to start with empty p3/p4 because they are not necessary to boot. Then go to your SC and let them restore your MCU.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

@Banjo , @jtornqv The MCU's are from your own car?

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

If you mean Multi-COM: they only recover keys/certs in P3 - but they check if it's possible before you have to pay

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

I don't think that there would come an official 3rd party fix for the emmc issue. Why should Tesla offer this? There is definitely no reason for them and if the really want to offer cheaper solution they would sell you the whole tegra board.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

Did you have a look at Swissbit EM-26 series - they are already configured for pSLC by factory?

For what purpose do you need the mmc-utils?

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

Allsocket SD doesn't also work for me with internal SD reader (tested three different ones) because of I/O errors. But I didn't try in-circuit reading - only with BGA socket.

Successful data recovery of broken eMMC chip MCU1

I have the same situation trying to in-curcuit read a Hynix H26M42003GMRA: emmc is not recognized. Reader is an Allsocket SD-version. I'm not sure if it is a question of compatibility or just the result of an already defective component?

how to buy Tesla Toolbox ? and from where ? and which program

Toolbox is only availabe for approved bodyshops. It's never worth paying 5k for a cracked software with questionable functionality.

    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

I think it would be helpful if someone could post the pinout for MCU0 and MCU1 boards for inline eMMC reading. Already damaged eMMC's don't like the unsoldering procedure.

    Salvage Car Owners Support Group.

Would be interesting to get additional informations on DU swap. Repair manual says you have to do firmware redeploy for front and small rear DU, but describing a immobilizer reset procedure (with toolbox) for large rear DU?

Tesla Service and Repair Information - just a start

Toolbox site is only for approved bodyshops but in my opinion this is a discrimination of independent operators.
