@rothman
About one year ago I had a service.teslamotors.com subscription (registered for a European company) because I thought it would be possible to access Toolbox site but support told me there is no Toolbox for independent operators.
Your screenshot was taken from a user with bodyshop...
If you don't know your equipment you should check with voltage meter before.
I would expect the adjusted voltage between V+ and V-, on most PSU's GND is earth and suitable to connect your antistatic mat/wristband - so you can forget GND and interconnect V-.
It's a fact that Tesla offers the worst possible service to independent repairers/operators in the whole automotive world.
I don't know any other company that refuses the access to diagnostic software, tools and parts in that way.
I don't think that there would come an official 3rd party fix for the emmc issue.
Why should Tesla offer this? There is definitely no reason for them and if the really want to offer cheaper solution they would sell you the whole tegra board.
Allsocket SD doesn't also work for me with internal SD reader (tested three different ones) because of I/O errors.
But I didn't try in-circuit reading - only with BGA socket.
I have the same situation trying to in-curcuit read a Hynix H26M42003GMRA: emmc is not recognized.
Reader is an Allsocket SD-version.
I'm not sure if it is a question of compatibility or just the result of an already defective component?
I think it would be helpful if someone could post the pinout for MCU0 and MCU1 boards for inline eMMC reading.
Already damaged eMMC's don't like the unsoldering procedure.
Would be interesting to get additional informations on DU swap.
Repair manual says you have to do firmware redeploy for front and small rear DU, but describing a immobilizer reset procedure (with toolbox) for large rear DU?
