Not regarding warranty info, but you did say you didn't know how to unlock your Model S from inside other than using the key fob. All you need to do is double press the button at the end of the drive select (R N D) lever.

Oh yeah. That stuff was almost standard issue for my e38 & e39 BMWs. Helped keep that German rubber stuff pliable.

Thanks. For some reason I thought FSD Beta branched off the regular updates while FSD Beta was being worked on/improved. Then I thought FSD Beta was supposed to be re-merged with the main updates to "catch up".

I may be wrong here, but wasn't FSD Beta 10.69.2 supposed to include some previous updates that non-FSD-Beta cars got that FSD Beta cars didn't? For example, the ability to monitor your security cameras via the Tesla app while you're not in your Tesla? Maybe I imagined reading this somewhere.....

Sometimes I just turn off FSD, make a turn to make it take the direction I prefer, then just re-start FSD & it re-routs to the way I prefer to go.

Thanks JulienW. I'm seeing the same responses as you are. Without entering a destination, I can change lanes via the turn signal, but it won't enter a left hand turn lane & turn left (with FSD beta on). Same for a right turn at a corner from the right lane. It won't turn.

Am I the only one that wishes FSD (beta) would slow down for dips/drain channels in the roads? Even if it's only doing say 35mph, you sure can feel them when it doesn't slow for the dip. It's the kind you'd normally slow down if you see one in the road ahead.

Interesting. My 2017 Model S (100D) had the update done for MCU2 on July 30, 2020, and I've had FSD Beta since Oct. 11, 2021.

While I'm still waiting for my Model S to be updated to 10.8 myself, you do need to go into the Autopilot screen (from the main Control screen) & turn on FSD. Then, you do have to select a destination in Navigation to give your car a route to take. Hope this answers your question. I never had...

After doing some reading of multiple threads, it's my understanding that a Model S (& X) from 2017 up to around 2020 (maybe later) haven't gotten updates that enable the Sentry Mode Live option yet. Hopefully one of these OTA updates will change that.
