I didn’t use the supplied valves since you will need the Tesla TPMS. Signature Wheels are awesome! I have them on our Plaid and Model Y.

Vendor New Refresh Headlights & Taillights for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 | T Sportline x Alpharex collab NOVA Headlights and Pro Series Taillights

Looks Amazing! I’m not a fan of Tesla’s tail lights on the early Plaids so I would love to replace them. You mentioned plug and play but “lots of things to remove and replace”. Interior covers? What needed replacing?

    Tesla releases New Yoke

I will definitely request replacing the yoke for the new center horn yoke. Innovation gone wrong placing the horn button on a tiny haptic button.

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Love the SAB Raw! I host the Abilene Chopper Madness events. Following this thread since I too have the slight vibrations at 40 mph and just now started hearing driver side suspension squeaks and clicking.

Best (most problem free and well supported) Power Frunk for the 2023

Anyone with a refreshed Model S successfully able to manually open and close the frunk with EvOffer or even Hansshow? This is with power or no power. I’m on my 3rd pair of struts and all 3 will not. On my Model X it worked.

So, is this due to poor location (getting wet) or poor quality connectors or both?

Best (most problem free and well supported) Power Frunk for the 2023

Great thread with many pro and con responses. I love the powered Frunk, however, I uninstalled it from my Model S for the simple reason that it would not manually close on the Model S. I have installed 2 of these (EVOffer) both on my Model X and Model S. EvOffer has great tech support and very...

Power frunk coming for 2021+ Model S

Totally understand. Sadly it‘s a nice feature when it works correctly. I purchased two of these kits from EvOffer. One for our Model X and the other for the refreshed Model S. On the Model X it works fine, the Model S has issues. The Model X hood can be manually closed but on the Model S it...

Wow, three times! This is costing Tesla and us consumers. They need to get this fixed asap!!!

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Was it covered under warranty? I’m not sure I trust it being the same part number. Tesla is good at updating revision/part numbers for any type of changes. Definitely following this thread. My vibrations started over 1000 miles. Exactly as described in this thread. Very subtle but noticeable...

Discussion: Model Y General Waiting room for orders placed After January 2023

You need to look at the bright side. There may be new hardware upgrades. Then you’ll be glad for the delay. Same happened to me when I first ordered our Model X. The new “Raven” upgrade came out with no notice until Elon made an announcement then everyone was delaying their orders to get the...

Car won’t sleep, hot rearview camera possibly causing 12 V battery failure

Same happened to me. They will close the ticket if you mention third party apps. Make sure you don’t. You need to reopen ticket and they need to explain why the car is always idling. That is not normal. They can remotely see if the car is idling for at least several days. Then have them explain...

Car won’t sleep, hot rearview camera possibly causing 12 V battery failure

I replaced the Model X with a 2023 Model Y. No sleep issues with both our Plaid Model S and Model Y. I’m back to using TeslaFi and Stats app with no issues on both cars. Never experienced hot rear camera at home and high phantom drain which are symptoms of the car always idling. You may want to...

Car won’t sleep, hot rearview camera possibly causing 12 V battery failure

Hi @RandomPlanet, TeslaFi does a great job with sleep modes and not disturbing the car by waking it up. “But”, if you are having sleep issues do not use any third party apps since they may be the very culprit why your car is not sleeping. Don’t use the Tesla app either since it will wake the car...

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery | Model S Plaid & Performance.

I’m sure Jamie will gladly share pics and specs. Here’s my blue Plaid with SV104’s 19” and compared with OEM 21”. The 21” OEM’s are summer tires and 19” for all season and road trips since you get more range with 19”. I love the option of changing the look or you can just swap OEM tires and...

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery | Model S Plaid & Performance.

Wow, from the video he says “So the rim looks good!”. At least that’s what I heard. I would have taken that tire off and test it like Jamie said “wheel by itself”. I can vouch for Jamie and Signature Wheels. I own a set of SV104’s on my Plaid and just recently SV503’s on the Model Y. All wheels...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Yep, mine started just over 2k miles in. I currently have over 20k miles driven. Vibrations are exactly as everyone describes it. This is with both 19” SV104 and stock 21” wheels. Just read how you guys troubleshot the issue, great job! Lowering mine in my neck of the woods is not a great idea.

Have a MX Raven, ordered a MY LR, but.... Who has both?

We are now on are third Tesla. First 2019 Raven Performance Model X, added Plaid S then just received our new 2023 Performance Model Y. Many improvements on the Model Y. We loved and miss the model X to an extent. The Falcon Wing doors are amazing and helpful especially for helping seniors in...

As mentioned above. Here’s a great link explaining setting Ludicrous mode with screenshots. 2021 Model S Frunk hard to close?

For those that have installed EVOffer’s Electric Frunk kit, does it allow you to manually close the Frunk? Can you take a picture of the installed strut? I purchased 2 kits from them back in April ($499.00 each) for both my Model S and X. I installed The Model X first and it worked great. But...

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

Yes I took a hit on the price adjustment but, this is what I agreed to pay and did. There was a $3,750.00 adjustment for taking delivery in December which I received after paying in full in November. I would not qualify for the EV tax break anyway. So that was nice. Still happy with my purchase...

EVOffer & Hansshow auto frunk - do they report status properly? And reliability?

Thanks for sharing. Yes would be nice to know after everything is powered and installed, test the manual up and down movement and can the emergency cable release works. Perhaps someone can test and share their results. I can only share how it works on the Model S. It did work on the Model X but...

EVOffer & Hansshow auto frunk - do they report status properly? And reliability?

The point is you want a manual close in case the control unit fails to auto close the struts. The latch still needs to open and close and lock the Frunk. The struts need to behave like the OEM struts. If they do in your case then it’s working correctly. On my Model X it allowed manually moving...

EVOffer & Hansshow auto frunk - do they report status properly? And reliability?

It’s not a hard install. Total DIY. And yes, I use the Frunk way more now since it’s auto. Plus the Frunk’s emergency button works well for closing after loading. Keep in mind I purchased both EV Offer Frunk opener’s at the same time for the Model X and S. It wasn’t until I installed on the...

EVOffer & Hansshow auto frunk - do they report status properly? And reliability?

The cable does have a smooth path. In my opinion it’s not the path that’s the issue, it’s the fact that there’s no clamp holding the cable sleeve down. The result is cable and sleeve move freely. Here’s the same install using the refreshed Model S. Notice the difference. The sleeve is locked...

EVOffer & Hansshow auto frunk - do they report status properly? And reliability?

I have installed EV Offer on both my Model X and Model S. Both reporting correctly. They both work well, however… After having installed, I won’t be doing the Y for several reasons. 1. Emergency release cable. If for whatever reason the opener fails, you are supposed to use this cable which I...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I’m still waiting on my spoiler to come in before I start replacing the taillights. The PPF wrap in the rear hatch needs to be redone so that’s the best time to remove the lights. Here’s another video showing the process. Having trim removal tools helps.

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I love how your car turned out! Matching the charge door was one reason I went with the dark red taillights. But it’s really what you think will look good. I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. Check out Kim Java’s video. Looks like she first picked the smoked tails but later...

‘22 MY in ultra sub cold tips?

Use scheduled departure with preconditioning on the Tesla app. Set Off Peak charging to the same time you are scheduled to leave. That way your Tesla will automatically start charging and preconditioning the battery and cabin temp you’ve set. So in the morning your car will be ready to go.

Bought my model Y, 2 weeks ago with EAP, cant see ‘Summon’ function in the Autopilot controls in the car or in the app.

In regards to Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance; No, it does not mean that. It works extremely well in my experience. Especially when manually driving and you are drifting out of your lane. Highly recommend turning it on. It’s a great safety feature. From the manual:

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

It’s great! Build quality is good. I really looked at everything in detail having more time. The only (minor) issues I found were the right rear taillight slight gap and the lower wheel trim slight alignment issue. Only driven 198 miles and 155 of that was driving home from service center. July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

No it did not, came with the 2170’s. From my understanding, only a few were built and only for employees from the Giga Austin factory. The 4680’s were only on the Standard Range Model Y’s with a 279 mile range which you can’t order from Tesla’s website. Either they are “low balling” the range...

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

Ride quality was pretty good but comparing our Plaid with adjustable air suspension isn’t a fair comparison since this is my first drive in a Model Y. July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

Yes, just picked up our Model Y Performance Saturday. No USS, has Active Matrix headlights and the build quality is outstanding inside and out. From others experiences I was worried I would find panel gaps and other issues. This is a 2023 Fremont build.
