EAP and FSD price at UK

I’m wondering if it tried to swerve due to a break in the road markings. I find that when using AP/TACC on motorways I sometimes have to switch it off temporarily or be ready to counteract any violent serving/drifting at junction turnoffs where there is a break in the continuous/dashed lines...

EAP and FSD price at UK

I maintain what I thought of FSD 3.5 years when I bought my M3, FSD stands for: Full Self Driving Future Self Driving Featureless Self Driving Fake Self Driving Not worth paying a single $ for it.

Plate theft foiled by stick on front plate!

Low life scums. Ye, technically not theft as they took nothing but it’s a crime for sure damaging/interfering with someone else’s property. Any reason why you haven’t put stick-on plates in the rear? The Tesla plate holders are pretty naff tbh and stick-ons look so much better.

    Touch up paint from Tesla

Does anyone if it is possible to buy touch-up paint directly from Tesla? How do I even order? Will SC do any touch-up work? Looking for MSM to touch-up a small scratch and a few small spots on bonnet and door edges that have gone beyond paint layer. Otherwise is Chipex the best option?

What is Full Service History for a Tesla?

Most online car brokers/buyers only have the options ‘FSH, Part Service History and No Service History’ when it comes to providing details of your cars service history - with no ‘Service Not Required’ option. Putting down Part Service History or No Servicing History typically reduces the cars...

    Upper control arm issue?

If it’s a squeaky type noise sounds like front control arm issue. I had similar at around 17k miles. Both the left and front were replaced at the same time under warranty.

Interesting, when you say tough reviews, do you mean damning or complaint about seats being too tough/hard?

Have seats on the M3 changed since initial launch?

I had a 2019 (69) M3 SR+ from new and recently sold (22.5K miles) and purchased a 2020 (70) M3 LR (24.5K miles) 2021 facelift model. The front seats in M3 LR seem to be a little softer than the SR+ which appeared to be a bit firmer and a little more supportive. I preferred the slightly firmer...

Battery degradation on M3 LR facelift version

Can anyone remember roughly what the max range shown on the car/app was on new early face lift Tesla M3 LR? (WLTP was 360 miles right?) I’m considering buying a used one and the seller says the app shows 322 miles range with full battery - agree this is not exact science. Wanted some crude...

    Powerwall versus Givenergy batteries

Apologies, this isn't about Powerwall or Givenergy but has anyone dealt with the ESE Group re battery storage? I believe they supply Pylontech Lithium Ion battery storage solutions. They quoted me £6500 inc VAT for supply and install of a 7kWh (2 x 3.5kWh) battery solution. We have a 7.2kW...

Thanks for your input and advice guys. Upgrading from a 2019 M3 SR+ to 2021/22 model

I’m considering upgrading my 2019 (69) M3 SR+ MSM to a new M3 SR+ which Tesla now simply refer to as Model 3. Trying to figure out what the additional outlay may be. The main benefits would be a new car plus some additional range. Are the new UK M3's made in China? Correct me if I’m wrong but...

Accidentally charged my Tesla to 100% last night. Will it explode?

Oh dear. You should’ve kept quiet. Musky has any army of range reducing elves that go steal one percent every time you charge to 100%. If you hear knocks and banging even when the car is locked that’ll be the elves hard at work.

    FSD subscription [contains fake screenshots]

As others have said, not even worth £1 per month for current FSD (Fake/Feature-missing/Future Self Driving). Maybe they’re thinking those that take the bait will forget to cancel when they’re disappointed.

Voice control in Tesla is cr*p. ‘Call Jem’ always interprets as ‘Cool Jen’ no matter how I say it. However if I say ‘Kaal J E M’ (kaal in slightly American accent) it works!

Best way to repair a minor ding / nick

Had my first ding today. Low speed impact to back bumper whilst reversing :( Was inevitable a lapse in concentration would lead to something like this sooner or later. M3 Mobile Connector (UMC) Charging Fluctuations

I use the UMC cable for home charging (and have been doing so for a number of months) and used to see a steady 10 mi/hr 231-235 V 10/10 A charging rate. In the last few weeks I've noticed the charging rate using the UMC cable fluctuate between 5 to 10 mi/hr and 5/5A to 10/10A. The charging...

Button on UMC cable not working

The button on my UMC cable (standard one supplied with M3) no longer seems to open the charging port. I think it stopped working some time ago. Anyone else experienced this? I’m assuming the cable is covered by at least a 12 month guarantee and SC will be able to sort something out?

    Frunk Hooks

Anyone know the real reason why frunk hooks are no longer supplied? Can’t believe it would be down to cost savings as it literally would be penny savings. What’s the next thing that could disappear? The single coat hook on the rear passenger side? Or new cars already being delivered without this?

    Full Charge Range on SR+

I'm happy with leaving it to show the range - at the end of the day % and range are just numbers. Once you've done some summer trips, winter trips, short trips, long trips, you get a feel of how quickly the range will come down based on the current driving conditions. The WLTP figure is a bit...
