Not sure they ever wanted to do that giving the fact that the ridiculous trade-in quotes they gave. As for the warranty, I don't think it gets extended because of the new battery, I'll be on my own next year.

Seems that way to me, but 22k is the highest quote I've ever seen.

In case some of you want to know, the battery swap cost about $22k based on the quote SC sent me, of course, it's covered under warranty. Took SC 3 days to get the pack, and couple hours for the swap. pretty fast turn around. Hope to see more and more of us get the same fix.

Don't know that yet, the car is pretty much full out the SC. but I will try it out this weekend. Before the swap it took me almost 2 hours to get to "full", should be better than that.

Don't know exactly when but should be around Valentine's Day. I think other than when it was ordered, we probably should also see where SC orders the parts from. Pretty sure they have some different distribution centers to handle the daily parts requests around the country.

IMO, the new 85 pack is released for possible replacement purpose, seems like Tesla ditched reman packs and decided to go this route.
