Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I would love to see him being called out for his X behavior at the shareholder meeting during Q&A. His opinions are not one-offs like they used to be and I'm tired of his X postings bleeding into the media news and social society. He posts like a 5 year old who thinks his opinion is fact.

I think this partnership will show WS how stable Tesla's next path is and will hopefully give us that next ATH push over a few years.

hmm...so would we be considered a "student" as none of us are professionals... :) $85 is worth it, but not $200. Also, I wonder if this would ever surface on the tube.... EDIT: nope, definitely not a student...form asks for university email. bah. whatever then. hahaha

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I was recently testing out FSD 12.3.6 on an hour drive on the highway and noticed it did not try and get over when there was a cop on the side of the road. I thought we were taught to do this, or if you can't, to slow way down, neither of which the car did and we had to turn it off for a brief...

Also, with how slow the govt/big auto work, we need need Tesla to stay as nimble as possible. While I voted for Biden, not happy about the 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs whilst at the same time the US auto companies are pulling back. This transition cannot be slowed anymore than it already is. So...

Totally get your doubt, but Elon just took care of the part I put in bold. :) ;) It's all there, set up and ready to go...just rides on execution, just like in the past...Also, you forgot Energy Storage in your domination. :)

Prediction: Coal has fallen. Nuclear is next then Oil.

If this happens, I'm all for BYD coming over and flooding our market. I know they said they were not thinking about us right now, but anyone trying to stop this renewable energy transition can go ya know...themselves.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I watched Viking King's video on the new CATL battery today and it made me think about all the research Jeff Dahn and his team have done for Tesla and what happened to it...where are the results? Everything these new CATL batteries do, Jeff gave presentations on the same findings like a year or...

Exactly. We haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet! The timeline for holding for years now as always been at least 2030 if not beyond because: Legendary Oil Trader Says the End of Demand Growth in Sight...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Real quick - since things are evolving so quickly these days, do I have this right? - 4680 is only for Cybertruck right now and the Model Y built in Austin uses 2170s? My boss is on the verge of buying a Y and I'm trying to give him all the details - both techincial and fun ones.

Again?? Still this? Sigh...how ironic as I was just rewatching this Limiting Factor vid on sodium-ion batteries and Shirley says China was actually learning from us (USA) in 2005, but look at us now...what a joke. Starts at 16:40 mark:

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Bro, I'm not paying for insurance if there are no chances for accidents/injuries. That would be giving your money away for free! They will die out or have little profits.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

As much as I bitch and complain about Elon, I voted yes to all board recommendations. Elon should get his package. He worked his ass off during that period. Time to see if he can do it again with this new direction...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

WTF does this matter. WTF.DOES.THIS.MATTER? He just gutted an important part of this company and he's on there with crap like this, meanwhile, us investors have been talking our heads off on here about his decision making. MAYBE, he should be posting and letting his shareholders know what his...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Nah, indirectly I can see it. I'm here. My post was talking more about a wider public view on how the company USED to have an inspiring mission theme, but does not look that way anymore.
  21. ggies07

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

This tweet had me thinking about the mission statement again. Since the beginning, I've always heard people go to work for Tesla due to the mission. They work hard for the mission. They sacrifice their time for the mission. We obviously see the company has pivoted to AI/bots now. Yeah, I'm not...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I know :) We don't know what "slower" means. Now if this means Elon is moving focus/funds to help install L2 or something in between that and a Supercharger for apartment complexes, bring it on! I am tired of that complaint.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

So one could assume that "existing locations" means "cities" which means preparing for robotaxis as some have posted this might be the case. huh. Still gotta travel around the states. Still holes to fill. sigh...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Then it seems this turn is in the "march of the 9s". Perhaps what is missing is AI surveying the situation and telling the car to go a different route instead of the car trying to force itself in there...and Elon hinted that Grok will eventually be integrated so...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I see. So does his past negate v12 now? Are all his v12 vids false? I do watch Chuck as well...been keeping up with his turn since the beginning. I do watch a variety of these v12 vids, but like the location Whole Mars is in for these test runs. Chuck's intersection is starting to annoy me...
  26. ggies07

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Is everyone (as well as the lurkers) who do not have FSD watching every vid from Whole Mars Catalog? Well ya should! I only watch his commentary ones though, as it gives me a better understanding of v11 to now since I've never had FSD. These vids have made me bullish and allowed me to accept...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Just a small data point, but I'm freakin ready for all cars to be autonomous. I drive across the DFW metroplex every day to get to work and people suck at driving. There are accidents constantly (one yesterday and two this morning!) that back up traffic. The next thing I see that creates traffic...

    The Resource Angle

So it seems you just need to crush the glass to put it back into sand form...I've done some research and it seems there is no chemical change from sand to glass or glass to sand, it's just physical form, so I'm assuming that using the recycled sand from glass would/could hold the same amount of...

    Tesla Annual Shareholder Meeting

Well, I've been saying for over year now Elon needed to STFU, but noooooo. And.Here.We.Are.
  31. ggies07

    The Resource Angle

Maybe this has been talked about already, but has anyone invested in a sand storage company? I keep thinking how we need to get off plastics and the best thing to do would be to go back to glass. You could "recycle" the old glass by melting it and then use it to store energy. I just watched...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I really don't care about the Q1 call next week, as that is all about what happened in the past. Any details about 8/8 and the future of Tesla are more important right now to clear up all this uncertainty.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

We have two Model 3's, but my wife works at home, so hers usually just sits in the garage. I could use my personal FSD car to drive to work (about an hour), send it back if she needed it during the day, and then have it come pick me back up. Then there's the whole "family's who are about to...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I honestly want a detailed roadmap of the next six years now. AI/NN training is so vague and not tangible enough for us investors. Cells and chemistry was something to research, to learn, to understand.
