I had the same issue but since I got the car. I got a bill due and made a service appointment. They had to order a new bumper which took two weeks.

I currently have rear heated seats as well. Took delivery in July 2019. My build date is June 2019

Not really near the ocean, it’s about 20 miles away. It seems like the corrosion was due to the outlet not being in use for years. That outlet was near my washers so maybe that was the cause or the corrosion.

I just replaced the outlet. It seems there was a bit of corrosion (blueish/greenish color). That seems to have been the issue. After I replaced it left it to charge around 20 mins and there was no message. It seems like the outlet hasn’t been in use for years Going to monitoring to see if...

Yeah I discontinue use of the plug already. I will probably get someone into come check to out. For now it’s urban chargers, ChargePoint and colts chargers for now.

Well my 10-30 adapter has a black spot on the ends where it connects to the outlet. I noticed today The connector doesn’t have any issues when plugging into a standard wall outlet.

I’ll take that any day My commute to work and back is around 15 miles. When It’s my day off work we typically go places. If it gives me 15 miles I’ll be happy with that. If I charge for 4 hours it’ll give me 60 miles. Which is awesome I’ll have to try it tomorrow night

Yeah I’ve thought about it doing 15a than go from there. How much miles would I get per hour if I do the 16a? It’s something I will have to try tomorrow night. I’m really hoping by dailing it down it’ll give me a better mph than the 3 I am currently getting now.

I am going to do what you did. Charge at home with the 5-15 than use level 2 chargers mostly. Unless I am able to dial down the amps to were it doesn’t cause any damage.

From what I saw that receptacle is very old. It hasn’t been in use since we moved into the place a little over a year 1/2 now. I don’t know if the previous tenants used it.
