The cones and trash bins were yanked from FSD a while ago. Sad because seeing cones was useful. But now I see cones! But ONLY on a few miles of I40 west of Raleigh NC!! Anyone else noticed this somewhere? Bo

Well settled for a low tech solution, a 50 ft Ethernet cable! Whenever the next update is available I’ll move the router to the next room over in a window about five ft from the car. Checking it I now see 4 bars on the WiFi indicator and at least judging by loading up Netflix in the car it’s fast.

No it’s last years model. But my data plan doesn’t allow hotspots :-(

TuneIn is very clunky, sometimes will show the station but not play. Then you have to select a different station and when it plays try the one you want. Or the station shows playing, then hit stop and start and it may work! Yup clunky….

For all the bragging about “artificial intelligence” and the system thinks an upcoming street sign is a car (and dims), but an upcoming car is isn’t a car - until it’s a few hundred feet in front of you. Yes, fire these guys Elon!

On my new 2019 I didn’t see anything coming out of the left viper. Slow mo filmed it just to make sure. Turned out that fluid line wasn’t hooked up! (A tip from this site) just plugged it in and all good. Lift up the plastic cover under the hood and it’s obvious if that’s the problem.

Just play some Abba loudly and enjoy the wonderful music system. Your M3 will take care of itself:-))

The 3:s must have a sucky WiFi antenna! I can walk around my whole backyard with great reception on my iPhone but need to park my car right up to my house to make it work. And even then it’s barely one bar.. Strange.

Just gave up and got Tesla originals! Snaps right in, no noises and sweeps cleanly. A bit pricey at 2x$25…. but since I’m also a shareholder;-))

Same thing, left pillar. Discovered it when I hand washed the car and noticed the film bubbling up. Pull it off and use windex to clean off the goo it’s held on with. A bit sloppy of Tesla though…

Installed Michelin XT silicone blades on my 3 as they seem to get good reviews. However the drivers side squeaks unless the windshield is totally drenched - and leaves the bottom 4 inches in-swept! The originals were perfect but not available in the Tesla store... Anyone with similar experience?

I’ve had exactly the same thing, all these colorful bands when there was nothing around the car! And did check the sensors, all clean. Screen reset fixed it :-))

Sept 2019 M3 and only had 1 outright screen crash. Car still driveable and reset on its own. Of course a few minor glitches after updates. Wish Elon would set aside a few of those Gigantic Brains working on FSD to the drudgery of swatting bugs and adding simple user requested features. Like...

I agree! My Misty has gotten a bit more nervous lately, breaking randomly (often just for a second and not aggressively), and then proceeding. On roads I've driven lots of time, day or night. Oh well, maybe in the next update?

I’m a little worried about the bottom of model 3 doors. The metal is thin and exposed to dirt and humidity, usually where rust will start. I’m planning to thoroughly clean the areas and apply a thick layer of wax. Anyone else keeping an eye on this?

My 3 with 11 000 miles showed (extrapolated) average 295 range. Charged to 90 % and had it sit for maybe 12 hrs. Next time I got 303 miles, so less than 3 % degradation!

I have a cheap reflective windshield covering I leave on top of the dash - screen when I leave the car for any length of time. Only takes a few seconds and probably does some good!

Just curious and can’t seem to find it anywhere: I’m impressed with the GPS in my 3! It seems very accurate and I’ve never seen it not acquire position immediately. Anyone know if it’s compatible with other systems (Glonass, Galileo..) and or WAAS capable? Bo

Same from what I can tell. And interesting tidbit, the car will notify you of upcoming stoplight BEFORE it can actually see them! (Like in a turn or a hill)

Hi! Had my 3 parked a few days in a city about 100 miles from home. The app showed the new software available for download when in WiFi. But when I get home - the update is gone! I’m sure I’ll get it eventually, just curious if anyone else experienced this Thanks!

In the same boat, had my beautiful “Misty” for 3 months. Tried different charging levels, exterpolated ends up around 305 miles range. Little less when very cold, vice versa. I’m just going to do 80 % for everyday driving and more when I need it. “Don’t worry, be happy”!

Had mine “fixed” couple of weeks ago. SC very friendly and basically told me it wouldn’t make much difference... And they were right! I’ll just live with it I guess...
