If the navi was just a bit better, it could do turn signals for you. I might like that feature, dont tell me the meters to the correct turn, just put my blinker on. Oh and yes there are GPS chips out in the market that can pinpoint your position to a nats ass.

It would be interesting which stalk you are talking about. I have not seen a shifter stalk in many, many years. At least we dont have the round button, spin. push. I wonder if anyone on this 5 page thread has really driven one.

Well my 2020 3 LR AWD lifetime is 254. I checked a section where were running about 82mph and we hit 278. This was on new all season tires, I guess to get to 500 we would be in 160mph range.

Just put Pirelli cinyurato all season tires. Did a 1100mile road trip and were much quieter than the stock tires. At $150 a piece, oh they have the seal inside as well. These are newer tires made for EV's. I have no idea about wear yet.

To keep the battery usage down, they both eat current. BTW you have to do this in the car cause you cannot turn tilt off by the app. We use it all the time.

I think the short answer is to keep battery drain down, ie making you chose between the two. For short trips around town, it is over protective, but for folks with long trips to the office it well may be a good idea. Is the Y really different, who knows.
