    Insurance in Washington State

Means Tesla Insurance is legally allowed to operate in Washington state. It’s up to them when it launches now.

Discussion: HW.4 Suite - Availability, retrofit, suitability etc.

Rumours are 11.4.5 was supposed to bring FSD for HW4. No idea why that version hasn’t gone wide yet.

The paperwork filed with the insurance commissioner is approved with an effective date of July 15. Hopefully coming soon.

Thank you for proving my point. Your justification is just plain delusional.

Discussion: HW.4 Suite - Availability, retrofit, suitability etc.

There is so much wishful thinking in this thread its insane. Tesla are under absolutely no obligation to swap HW3 to HW4. All the mental gymnastics people are pulling about the legalities are just laughable.

    Rear ended in Sherwood…Damage Guestimate

what are you driving in the mean time? Did the at fault's driver provide you a rental car? I just settled my claim by heavily discounting my M3P and letting the insurance company buy it from me. That way have the cash now to buy another one which to me seems quicker than waiting for repairs

Yes saw someone on Twitter get their CVRP approved in your exact situation. Federal tax incentive is totally seperate so you can claim both.

That’s exactly my point :) July-1 will also most likely have highland refresh available.
  26. G

2022 Model 3 LR AWD, Blue/White, low miles, Denver CO

I don’t mean to low-ball but in light of the 7.5k fed and 5k CO tax credits starting July-1; I’d like to offer $37k A brand new LR can be bought from inventory for $47k minus $7.5k minus $5k (assuming delivery after 1-July) plus $1k for white is $38.5k

    Available 2023 Model 3 RWD 9600 Miles

I don’t mean to be rude but new inventory is $37,830 minus federal tax credit ($30,880) minus CVRP $23,380. Would you be open to offers in the mid 20s? If so would be very interested.

Advice on not-at-fault insurance claim in WA

@IdaX was this $75 per day retro-actively via a lawsuit? Or did you somehow convince the insurer at the time to pay out the loss of use?
  31. G

Advice on not-at-fault insurance claim in WA

Yes I fear that also. Has anyone successfully bought a new Tesla in the mean-time and then claimed loss of use as a per day compensation? My plan would be to let the repairer fix the car; buy a new car now; wait till old one is fixed and then immediately sell it. I want to claim the time...

Advice on not-at-fault insurance claim in WA

Typical story: was rear-ended at about ~30MPH. Damage to rear quarter-panel, bumper, door, wheel etc. Initial estimate $20K from a Tesla authorized auto shop with earliest start time of mid September and then a further month for parts repairs. Geico (insurer of at fault driver) says they only...

I have a few rental properties that generate over 150K in yearly gross income but after expenses, generate a negative net income. This puts me over the 300K joint filing limit right? This is extremely annoying because wife and I really not making anywhere near $300K.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

consumer protection laws aren't designed to prevent monopolies, they are designed to protect against anti-competitive/anti-consumer behaviour. What are Tesla doing that's anti-consumer anti-compete? Lowering prices? Best value product in market? open sourcing patents?

Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 Winter Tires - Model 3

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Assuming a 40K per week run-rate and the same 8 day inventory figure from Q3, we can expect there to be 45-46K inventory. 80K would be almost double that. I think that's a bit too high. My total guess is that the days inventory will actually go down slightly as its an end of year quarter. My...

How far away are we from FSD. Would you option now?

paulieP!!! FYI the car does come to complete stop. The display rounds *UP* to the nearest mile/kmh so looking it doesn't help. The complete stop only lasts for a second so it's very hard to notice in a video. I've driven FSD Beta and I can tell you 100% it comes to complete stop.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

THANK YOU! This should have been the KEY message from the Q3 earnings call. It's honestly quite staggering how well TSLA are doing compared to legacy OEMs and other EV startups like Rivian, Lucid etc. GM have said their EVs will only be profitable in 2025 and until then need the IRA to stop...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yea I'm referring to both combined being GM neutral, slightly positive. The fact that that two ginormous factories ramping wasn't backed out of a relatively lower GM in Q3 is mind boggling. What Tesla have achieved by ramping up Berlin and Texas while still having positive FCF and only slightly...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

This is by far will be the biggest determining factor on recovery or not. It seems production will be around 460-480k and if deliveries are 430-440k it will be considered a beat.

    3 Phase Powerwall

Yea the PW2 is starting to show its age. The rest of world has moved onto rack mounted LFP which is about $300 USD per kWh vs PW2 at around $900 kWh. Even if you consider Inverter costs, rack mounted LFP + hybrid inverter is still half the price of PW2. The thing that Tesla absolutely crushes is...
  46. G

    3 Phase Powerwall

LFP batteries aren't really a constraint... apparently SiC are the big bottleneck for big battery systems.
  47. G

    3 Phase Powerwall

Hopefully the rumoured LFP based PW3 will have a 3-phase built-in hybrid inverter. You should be able to hook up 2x MPPTs, 3-phase grid tie, 3-pole switchboard breaker all in the one unit. Then when you go off-grid your entire switchboard is an island energized by the solar and battery. would...
