It’s called Teslafi. I logged a service request and they monitored the car for an about a week, and then pushed the software update to the car for me to download again. It has fixed all the issues, must have been a bug in the first download.

My workaround for autopilot is recalibrating the cameras in the settings menu before i start my drive. The battery drain is annoying and was definitely not an issue before the update. I lost 8% with it sat on my drive for a day. The first image is before the update and the second is after.

As with others, I use ABRP to plan for long road trips, however I then use google maps to estimate times between stops, especially if it’s time critical such as channel tunnel crossing.

I’ve taken mine to Lake Como in 2020 and South of France last year. This year the road trip is to Sardinia.

My wife has an E2008, and software updating is not the easiest. You don’t have to sit in the drivers seat and wait, just attach the drivers seat belt and exit the car.

I switched to Octopus GO over two months ago, I already have Smets 2 meters but still waiting for them to move me from the standard tariff to go. I have contacted them twice but feeling as I’m being fobbed off.

I’ve booked a holiday in Spain and rather than fly I will be driving a M3 SR+. I’ve used ‘A better route planner’ to plan my journey and all charging will be at Tesla Super Chargers. As a safety net, which other EV charging Apps would you recommend registering for use in France and Spain?

I plug in as soon as i arrive home and it starts charging immediately, if I’m not planning to use the car the following day, i don’t bother. I don’t schedule charge as my electricity tariff is a single rate.
