I checked and my pedestrian speaker is gone. It used to make that humming/sci fi noise. My neighbor actually asked me about it shortly after I got the car. All I can guess is it got removed when Tesla removed/repainted my front bumper and wasn't put back in.

Yup, not working for me either.... Emission mode let me select exterior speaker but nothing happens. I did have the bumper repainted by Tesla back in July, who wants to bet somehow that got disconnected?

I have an Oct 2019 (i think) build, as a 2020 model year. I had the same thing last night, sound inside the cabin, nothing outside. It was getting late so I didn't mess with it much. Will go out there in a bit and try the usual reboot steps. I used to hear the back up noise but haven't noticed...

I didn't weigh the hitch, but I believe it's listed as about 40-45 lbs and that sounds about right. You also remove a couple pounds of metal plates so maybe adds 35-40lbs?

Have kids seats in the back so folding down the seats isn't realistic. Installed a Curt hitch plus my old Yakima Holdup bike rack. Trunk opens with both the rack folded up or the bike on it.

If you go the ring route make sure it's not loose. My wedding ring is easy to slip on and off which gets way worse in cold water. I remove it when swimming so I don't lose it. I might check out the rings myself though, that's pretty convenient.

Yeah, apparently Curt revised the design of the hitch this spring. The older model is 11571 I think, but the newer model number is 11581 (Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1-1/4" Receiver, Select Tesla Model 3). It was on Etrailer as C52VR but in the specs says 11581...

Just installed a Curt hitch this weekend. It's on Etrailer for like $185. The 1.25" hitch isn't that noticeable with the rack removed.

Looking to add a hitch for a Yakima Hold Up bike rack. What brand hitch did you use? I have used Curt hitches previously and they were straight forward to install. The Model 3 version is only like $235 on Amazon but the reviews (all 2 of them) mention it doesn't line up with the mounting points...

Doesn't have to be titled for it to show up on CarFax. The one Tesla tried to sell me had been crashed and CarFax showed it, which is how I found out about it being crashed. Not from someone at Tesla letting me know.

I do a lot of running and never take my phone. What are the options for getting back into my car without having it unlocked while I'm running? I used to just carry the car key in the little pocket inside my running shorts. The credit card key deal won't fit.

Thanks - I'm in the same boat. Except when I talked to the delivery center yesterday they said they didn't see anything on my account about a wall charger so didn't know anything about it. I'm supposed to be put in touch with someone from the 'executive' team today to discuss my situation.

For the wall charger they promised you, was there anything in writing for that? Just wondering if they added it to the MVPA or show up somewhere online? Or just assuming one will show up at some point?

At least they didn't have you pay for the car in full and insure it. But when you call the delivery center (for the second time), 2 days before expected delivery tell you JUST KIDDING. We're probably not going to transport the car to you like we told you we would in e-mail......

I saw a picture of the damage. It really didn't look bad. Just a dent in front of the driver's side wheel. If they send me the pictures I'll post them.
