Yea I got delayed lol we got a lot of snow over the last few days. It will be a few more days for me now but it is 100% under construction and being trenched in the back corner. I didnt see Tesla equipment yet so maybe a few more days is better so they can get some cabinets or stalls on site...

I will check the transformer next time I stop by. They are waiting on the city to approve them pouring the concrete entrance. Making them jump through hoops and get flaggers to control traffic in and out of Caldera. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony of some sort so a hard date for opening...

We go to Crater Lake all the time out of Medford, even in the winter, with no issue. The return drive is almost entirely down hill.

So by pure luck, I became acquaintances with the landowner and mastermind behind this station today. As of now, it is scheduled to be opened on July 21st. The transformers and whatnot are apparently good and ready, the final power hookup is being pulled today (pictured?), and paving, curbs, and...

There is one more stall to the right, out of frame. Nearest the curb, it’s spaced differently because it will be handicap accessible.

I scouted this location on 3/30, no signs of any progress. No spray paint markers anywhere etc. I think this location is going to be pretty rough. The lot was so small, and it was nearly full already.
