I would have no objections to NHTSA investigation that led to mandatory recall for horn placement. Ridiculous design decision for daily driver. Like others I’ve accidentally cleaned my windshield when attempting to hit the horn during emergency situations smh…..

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to check. Although I've generally had positive experiences with SC techs, I too prefer to fix things on my own to avoid hassle.

He mentions not noticing much difference between 3 & refresh refresh S headlights which is a good sign cause current 3/Y headlights compared to S/X is night/day. Not betting on official retrofit though :/

Think some owners got factory rubber inserts for cup holders with little rub nubs while some did not so its only a large plastic opening. Mine is the latter.

My 2021 didn't come with any factory rubber inserts for the cup holders, its just plastic opening. Had to buy an aftermarket ones. Without the rubber inserts, water bottles fit fine but I tend to keep mine in door pocket though.

Found mine inside little bag inside the charger bag in the trunk. If you can't find a match at local hardware store the SC/mobile tech should give them to you for no cost.

The driver display was much better utilized in pre-refresh MS. Answering calls with steering wheel buttons was much safer. Also much prefer seeing text in driver view rather than on center screen. Really hopeful Tesla will tweak some of this moving forward and provide more customization options...

Looks beautiful! Just word of caution to be careful in cold climate on those tires. Seems all the Plaids were delivered with summer tires. About to swap mine out for all seasons.

Please post an update if this works. I took a similar path taking delivery of Plaid recently while I have pre-price hike ($15K less) LR order from June that would like to sell.

Just to add another data point, I went from '20 Raven to '21 Plaid both with 19's and immediately noticed the overly bouncy suspension on comfort setting specifically. It actually reminded me of my experience with M3/MY. Was hoping it was just a break in period but based on the other comments...

My June LR order just got pushed from Jan-Feb to Mar so wouldn't be surprised. Kinda wonder if production line switched over to manufacturer more X plaids.

I also have 2020 MS LR+ and coming from 2019 M3 LR immediately noticed improvement in glass roof heat reduction. Hope they didn’t back track in refresh model.

This does not apply to the S and X, in fact I just completed a lease buyout a couple weeks ago.
