The supercharger across the highway at Northgate Mall - 16 chargers - are very busy and full today for a while. Tesla drivers really need an alternative like this site. I hope the transformers come soon!

What looks like "jumping to conclusions" is just what IMHO is the most likely explanation for why so many SC sites seem to be stalled for so long in western WA. I agree though that transformers can take a while, and that might be the problem at some sites, e.g. Shoreline.

Current theories are that either it's waiting on some action by local government or utilities, or the ball was dropped due to layoffs at Tesla.

(sigh) has this site been forgotten, too?

If this site appears to be waiting on inspection from Skagit County, is it possible that the inspection already happened, passed, but nobody at Tesla is there to turn on the lights due to the recent layoffs?

Elon says that Tesla is spending (investing?) more than $500 million on superchargers this year, and since this is a high-need site, it probably wasn't killed. I wonder how much of the unfinished superchargers in WA are just sitting there unfinished because contractors don't know what's going...

Seattle City Light, two guys. is working on it now. Looks like the meter is going in. No transformer though. Guy told me he didn't know anything about when the transformer was coming because that's a different dept.

I'd guess that the transformer is the thing this is waiting on, and that's up to Seattle City Light... so, no idea :( could be months, could be a week. I live in Shoreline too.

Yes, the screen/grating pieces were piled up in the fenced-off enclosure where the transformer will go. I noticed just one big rectangular grated hole at one point in the side, I'm thinking that the grate might be temporary and this would be an entry for cables, OR your theory is correct, and...

More pics. Waiting on a transformer at least. That big square aluminum assembly looks like it's something to run cables around the transformer, but... any ideas?

Northgate, Ballard, Shoreline, Burlington, and a bunch of others in western WA, all waiting for transformers? At least Blaine is not waiting on a transformer. Maybe that's waiting on utilities.

Nothing going on. Waiting on 12 v4 pedestals, transformer, maybe some digging, paving and striping. This is a great supercharger location but also a busy parking lot.

It doesn't make Tesla look good toleave a site like this unfinished for so long. No change AFAICT.
