Tomorrow at 1PM PDT we will be discussing the latest Tesla Shareholder Meeting on the TMC Podcast. You can watch live on YouTube or X and participate in the chat.
This location listed as temporarily closed while we were charging, but was working fine. Freaked us out as we mapped to the next stop and it said closed super chargers on your route.
Thanks for the replies. We're actually driving from Colorado to Seattle so we're thinking we'll go the WY,ID route on the way home and through MT on the way back. Will post a longer thread about that as we get closer.
My wife and I are doing a road trip in the beginning of April. Not being too familiar with Wyoming/Utah/Idaho, should we go north through pocatello or stick to I-80 and go through Ogden? Pocatello is about 15 minutes longer, but if it is a nicer drive we don't mind taking the detour.
Mapping to South Padre Islands is a rough stretch with Trinidad to Sweetwater. 470 miles with only one supercharger in Amarillo. Need this supercharger in Clayton and another one in Lubbock. Both sound like long shots at this point.
ParkDIA has level 2 chargers available in their covered parking as well.
Sad that I had to sit and think about what the parking garage was called. I would usually be on an airplane at least every few months to travel somewhere for a vacation. This pandemic is lame.
Anyone hear anything about planned superchargers along highway 40? They seem to be building up that way with Kremmling coming on-line and steamboat springs being planned. Seems like Craig and Dinosaur would be helpful as well.
Moderator note: This post plus the three following posts were part of a merged in thread.
We had a new location open up in Denver that is across the street from another location. I found it odd that two locations are so close together. Are there other locations (probably in California) that...
Going both east and westbound on C-470 between Quebec and Santa-Fe there are several spots that seem to be bad for phantom braking. Both when approaching exits and overpasses. Wondering if other people see it or if it is a peculiarity of my car.
Thanks for your replies. Decided not to go through SD considering what a clownshow Sturgis is ending up. We'll go through Nebraska on the way out and Kansas on the way back.
Since I don't see an option to edit, another possibility is we can do the trip in reverse, going through nebraska on the way out and south dakota on the way back. Hopefully that would avoid some of the sturgis crowd.
We're looking at driving from Denver to Lone Rock, WI starting on August 16th in our Stealth Model 3. We're probably going to drive up through Mount Rushmore and across South Dakota on the way out. We are aware that Sturgis is just finishing up and there will be people heading back home - how...
Still no updates I’m guessing? Tesla at least has it on the map as a coming site but I don’t know how many years it has been there. Was thinking about a road trip up there.
Wow, this is not super far from my house. Although I'm a bit surprised as this is relatively close to the Park Meadows location. I wouldn't think this one would get much use with the Park Meadows location being closer to the highway, but for those who will want to avoid that area there are...
Can you trick the car by setting the destination to the Peña supercharger and then heading to the one on 120th, or will it realize the jig is up and stop preconditioning if you get far enough off course?
Drove through again yesterday on our way back from the ice castles in Silverthorne. Noticed as we were having dinner at BeauJo's that again the Silverthorne SC was almost completely full while the Idaho Springs one was completely empty.
Was also thinking that if you want to arrive at 10%...
I've noticed that the passenger seat in my 2020 P3D- doesn't recline. Up/down, forward/back all work fine. Before scheduling an appointment I figured I'd check with you guys to see if there was a simple fix.
Castle Rock outlets would be a great location. I still think Park Meadows will be busy no matter what, but people driving through wouldn't have to depend on it.
Colorado Mills and Thornton should also ease the load.
Went up to go to BeauJo's (my first time!). Wife didn't want to stop at the SC because she wanted to know what percentage we would return home with, but waved back at a guy carrying a DSLR who seemed to be charging at the time.
Averaged 125wh/mile on the way back from Idaho Springs to the...
Yeah, this should relieve the pressure on the supercharger off I-70 & airport blvd.
Denver & Idaho springs gotta have one of the highest densities of v3 supercharger once this is all said and done, no?
Walsenburg would be a good location for people driving south from Denver that don't need to stop in Colorado Springs but can't make it to Trinidad.
They really seem to be building a lot of chargers in Denver with 3 sites currently under active construction in addition to Idaho Springs being...
How busy is this supercharger usually? Planning to drive down on a Thursday in Feb from South Denver to Santa Fe. Plan is to stop for lunch in Trinidad and then either stop in Las Vegas, NM or at the supercharger in Santa Fe (even though it is a little bit out of the way). Hopefully there...
