Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Just a little humor to start the week. ( I know the reports are that the low interest rate is working so don't get stupid)

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

My main rebuttal has been I did invest, and I will invest. My decisions are not any different than an investor. I look at the actual facts that are real world/market to decide when and where to invest. I do not look at market metrics, which is how I differentiate between an investor and a...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

We only differ in what we see happening. You see something coming, and have no confidence in when. I see the same thing, but NOT soon. And I "see" retail investors abandoning Tesla for months to come. And come on man? A "demo" by Elon make "investing" in TSLA more likely? No. Flat out "NO."...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Your "beliefs" are just that. And they fit into the religion scheme. Religions: Do what we say till you die, then get your pay-out. I'd rather set goals in life, and adjust them as the environment change. Kudos to all those that have been able to deny themselves a pulled pork sammich because...

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Well there we differ. You refer to the changes as "upgrades." I refer to the as F-ups.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

On "investing" vs "Trading." It seems obvious to me or am I wrong? I get labelled a "trader" if I can clearly see (And believed Elon a year ago when he said it was going to be a rough year ahead for TSLA stockholders) that the EV market is not going to be a place to have ANY money for at...

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

I keep getting BS updates on the EV Silverado. The two reasons I still have a place in line for a Cyberturd is that by the time my number is called the turd will have gone through "upgrades," and that FSD will compensate for a lot of the piss poor design in the turd.

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

When Elon takes a dump(Cyberturd) on purpose then he is the subject. You can't blame the turd.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Someone got any real insight as to what I just experienced/noticed? This was the first time I did not have to go hunting for a way to vote my TSLA shares. I literally clicked on an email and was taken to an easily understood voting "ballot." ANd the votes were recorded without any worries as...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

So TSLA went up 10% in a matter of hours based on Tesla FSD moving forward in China? China? This price movement is based on whose investment model? DO they have a clue what China will require "FSD" to become IN China? China? FSD? worth 63 Billion dollars? This stock price is a joke...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

exactly... Fools and their money. But in all seriousness BYD should make one for $8k. It would be an opportunity to get their product in a consumer market they have no presence. If they are better than the "GEM" ones then the owners will eventually look at the EV's.
  13. lafrisbee

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Honestly. BYD could sell gigailions of $10k luxury electric vehicles in the USA if my town is the norm. Greater than 25% of the homes around here have a third vehicle that is a "fast" electric golf cart licensed by the City's Police Department. BYD could put a 2/3's smaller battery, and a...

The "touted" ability of the Cyberturd during initial presentation had me placing a deposit on one just so I could sit in the driveway during a Hurricane.

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

LOL... I never mentioned other manufacturers or their products... Tesla/Elon had another TWO years during COVID to get the vehicle (not a truck) so it could be "close" to what he touted. And the "Founder's Edition" isn't close, even when it costs considerably more. The vehicle they have now? It...

I do not need to hear from Cyber(NOTA)truck owners or those that are still defending this shard of stainless shite as what Elon/Tesla stated those of us that put down our deposits would get... I am not here complaining about Tesla. Actually quite the opposite from my position. The last few...

That IS my idea of a Tesla camper.

Can the CyberTruck replace a delivery truck?

The turdneau cover is not waterproof, and has been shown to be dodgy at opening and closing. And I doubt it was ever designed for more than the casual Rhinestone Cowboy to use so it won't hold up. But yeah, go ahead, they were dumb enough to design, you can be dumb enough to buy it...and use...

    Under the skin

If you have read any of my posts on the cyberturd you know I find it to be....disappointing. So consider what I write next as from someone that already dislikes how the "Designers" screwed over the engineers. The cyberturd is still a very disappointing vehicle, but damn if it isn't built well...

    No Midgate?

The turd does not have a midgate because the asshats working for Musk didn't stand up to him when he proposed a leaking rolling door as the cover for the turd's trunk. The cyberturd was built around the rolling door. The turd functions as rolling door carrier that can also carry some people. An...
  23. lafrisbee

    No Midgate?

The tailgate is even worse than that as it was shown on the reveal to have an enclosed ramp. The cyberturd was created because Elon got disenchanted with the toy. The Turd is just a turd.

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

I actually used to have a car that was "legend" while I attended Auburn. It was a 1971 510 Datsun. It was supposed to be red but was so old it was mainly a dusty primer gray. One day while I was high two nursing student females knocked on the door and asked if they could "paint my car." They...

    No Midgate?

The major pick-up manufacturers do not have a lid over their bed like the Cyberturd has over its trunk(not a bed). The Turdneau cover's track at the wall between the Trunk and Passenger area is the biggest impediment to being able to use the Cyberturd's TRUNK. It is like Elon specifically...

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Hey. I just went back to the future and was listening to Elon talk to his engineers_ ELON: I thought of something no one else has thought of. And I want it to be part of the Cyberturd. What if the Hub cap came out over the wheel. I mean how cool is that. No one else has ever thought of it! Am...
  31. lafrisbee

    No Midgate?

The turdneau cover is not air or water tight. Which might be why Elon nixed even a sliding rear window to allow the trunk to be used (at all). You'd train the battery "cooling" the outdoors. And again. A tent is not secure. From what we can see, the design of the cyberturd was to create a weird...

Ya gotta find a new level of "HUH?" when you look at how far the Cyberturd's Stainless steel surface has gone from "it won't even need washing. Just let it for a nice natural honest patina." To Wrapping, ceramic coating, buffing, washing as soon as you get it, etc etc etephingsetera. All the...

I "imagine" that there are huge "improvements".. that should have been solved over the FOUR years Tesla lied to us and kept stating, "We're working on it." Elon can't run all the companies/interests he has. He's being piss poor in all of them now. It used to be that Tesla, SpaceX and the...

The best part is no part (or at least a couple of hundred fewer MOVING parts than a turdneau cover). By Tesla logic you just showed how terrible the turdneau is.

    Turdneau cover

OK, one more time. The Cyberturd's frunk does appear to be small. And that is not really ideal. BUT if the "Designers/engineers" of the Cyberturd had to make it that small because that is all the room that wasn't being taken up by all the mechanical stuff under the hood then I can fully...

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

I just feel real disappointed that the "truck" was designed and engineered to be a 40 yr old soccer mom's van that looked "so cool" that her husband could be somebody when he got to drive it.

Now I have seen three videos of the turdneau cover becoming an even bigger eyesore because unless you go completely Felix Unger about it then it is a dirt and leaf magnet. It is even worse than I thought.... The technobois be like, "I got this beautifully wrapped turd, but man I can't do...

    Turdneau cover

You are GETTING waaaay ahead of yourself. First let's see whether the space is being used for something MORE important like the steer by wire module and the "octopus valve." If they gave the "Cybertruck owners" all the space available then the engineers/Designers did well. If they could have...

    Turdneau cover

Agreed it is very small. But when someone finally gets their Cyberturd (Poking SANDY here) They'll finally show us that behind the small frunk is all the guts of the Cyberturd so the frunk was all the space they had for it without making a long hood. And I'd call that engineering decision a very...

It will appear as if one of the fanbois seduced me when you read this: I can see the big boys passing Tesla with regularity in regard to some metrics. But software is still a leader for Tesla. AND the biggest hope I have for Tesla and TSLA is if/when they do develop and perfect the...
