Comparison of Model 3 Performance w/ Two Versions of MPP Coilovers

Clicks from full stiff (for both front and rear); Compression = 12 Rebound = 10 This is sporty yet still pretty comfortable for me daily driving in L.A., but I'm very used to driving lowered cars... My wife does occasionally find it a little bouncy on rougher roads, and the solution is just...

Comparison of Model 3 Performance w/ Two Versions of MPP Coilovers

Thanks, and at my ride height and rebound/compression settings, the M3P feels more like the S4 on KW HAS springs vs. the M3 on springs. You can't go wrong with either option, but if you were coming from the stock S-Line suspension, I think you'll be good with the Comforts.

Traded my M3P for an RS3 - My thoughts on both cars for what it's worth

You can go ahead and argue with yourself... I never mentioned anything in my previous post if you should let the engine oil warm up prior to driving an ICE car aggressively or not (newsflash, I do have my cars "warm up" first). However, the engine oil in modern turbocharged engines is pretty...

Traded my M3P for an RS3 - My thoughts on both cars for what it's worth

The newer VW/Audi turbocharged engines use a synthetic 0W-20 oil, so it's pretty thin (most likely for improved fuel economy). I've never had an issue with oil seepage/leakage in the 6 Audis I've owned, but I don't keep them past the warranty period either... 😁

Slowly... 😄 But really, I've only scraped (the middle of the car) on these large metal speed bumps at my stepson's high school. Otherwise, I have more issues with driveways that crest back down after entering. And if I know I'm going somewhere that is lowered car "unfriendly," I'll take the...

Yep, just a couple sprays per panel and then dry the car. There's also another version that you apply to a dry car; https://www.turtlewax.com/products/hybrid-solutions-ceramic-wax-spray-coating-16-fl-oz I typically use the version above as a "base" first, and then I apply the "wet" version...

lol That's the struggle... I want to also pick up a set of 19"x9.5" wheels for the M3P, but I have no more room in our garage as all three cars have aftermarket wheels and I keep all the stock sets. 😄

Thanks! I do have another set of BBS center caps in "red/gold" (from a previous set of LMs) that I'll throw on for you one of these days. 😁 I think you could raise the car up another ~0.5" and it would still look pretty good.

Nice! I think I only saw 2 or 3 Teslas (all Model 3s) when we were in Japan earlier this month (Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, & Kyoto)... Then I come home and there are at least 8+ Teslas on our block alone. 😄
