Has anyone with issues with the voice commands tried replying to texts via the car? I don't know if I am crazy but I find that works 9 out of 10 times for what I am trying to say compared to voice commands just not really working
I think you will find that in the Model Y, you can turn off the actual air con vent for the passenger, which is why I assume it disappears perhaps. Cause the Model 3 is always on, that is why it shows.
Only a hunch though, not 100% sure
So an update, I checked my account and all 4 tolls were picked up in that position under the armrest, barely heard it so thought it didn't work though.
Tolls taken:
Eastern Distributor − M1 Woolloomooloo
Lane Cove Tunnel West
M2 North Ryde West
NorthConnex - Northbound
I've been coping the 55 cent fee since I rarely use Tolls luckily but I am going to try that solution now, actually using some tomorrow so will report back how that armrest solution goes. I believe I am on the M1, then M2 then Northconnex so should be a good test maybe.
The not a tesla app mentions only for China. Is that not the case? Would be a good change if so

Nope it is for 3/Y as well, we just aren't included in getting it at the moment. I assume they are working something out with Telstra with all the extra data going to be used?
I am pretty lucky to have bought a unit with just the 12 garages on the one floor, they mentioned they will need to use Wattblock and the cost will fall on me to upgrade the board but I convinced them to let me install my own charger just off my units breaker for the meantime. Not really...
I find the middle lane is a lot less scarier but it still has a habit of getting really close to the right lane going northbound, southbound I found a lot better on those S bends
Are you on 2021.36 or 2021.36.5 now? Seems like an odd bug that you have but I don't and maybe others here don't either. Might be worth a ticket with Tesla if on 2021.36.5
Does the button not show for you or it still shows but doesn't activate? I just did a route with NoA and it still shows the button out of Chill mode on 36.5
I got 36.5 yesterday, tested out the AutoPark, it picks up spaces a lot better now which is good including just lines with no cars. It needs to start its approach a bit better though so it doesn't have to do it in two motions, so still a bit to go and still way too slow but if they can figure...
Anyway, I am excited to order a Model Y that is MiC, the build quality of my Model 3 vs the MiC one is just not even on the same level. Although I just really compared mine to someone else's I knew so was a small sample size.
this looks like the spot. In the corner near the coles drive and collect spots and directly below coles. Entry from the Princess Highway is go left and then right and you should see the spots. Going straight from entrance you will also see the chargers though
Thanks for the link, I did it twice cause first time I didn't leave trunk open and such that I found Tesla in the Gong did, both times no luck. Will wait and see, maybe after a sleep it will work but doubt it
Has anyone had issues with their ultrasonic radars not working after updates? This is the second time, the first time it was solved by letting the car sleep but this time seems to be more persistent? Have logged a ticket but was more just wondering if its just me
EDIT: updated to 2021.4.18
I think buy FSD and it will push you to the front... I honestly think that is how it works. I don't have FSD but I called support about the COP issue so I think cause I was one who complained, they pushed me to the front but usually I am week behind as well
Each time you go to Software page it...
I installed .35.5 yesterday, COP has been fixed for my car that is currently sitting outside in the Sydney sun today. Temps around 36 degrees in the car still.
Interesting, keep us updated cause they just closed my support ticket with them about COP. But I only just found out about the active grille thing when a leaf got stuck in there and its opening and closing still
Best thing I have learnt is you can hold down the gear stalk while autopilot is engaged to change speeds when going through a new speed zone, instead of clicking the screen all the time, also don't need to engage a full click, just slightly down works as well like what you discovered
Moa999...
Yeah I must have jumped to a conclusion as I read the US forum where everyone mentions it doesn't do it still. Damn. Percentage still good though instead of a hard number limit
So does yours do that now? I am wondering if this is a FSD feature only?
I got 44.10.1 and I setup the Set Speed to 6% offset, so I am driving in a 60 zone it will be 64, and when I enter a 70 zone I thought that it would accelerate to 74 but it doesn't, it will stay at 64 until I tap the speed...
Even if it was electric he isn't charging so still stands. If a Tesla is parked in that spot and isn't charging then they are ICEholes as well in my view
I used this, Tesla Model 3 Chrome Delete | Nikola Pro , got Matte Black but wish I got Satin Black. Still looks amazing and did it myself, took a couple of days though, maybe 6 hours worth of work, but all precut and easy to do.
Sounds like you should have it free for life then? Might need to contact them.
Car is always connected to 4G even without subscribing, it just allows Spotify and Satellite Maps, Live Traffic etc while on their 4G, best believe they are still taking data from the car no matter what.
Not sure...
I believe you would get a year free if ordered after July, 2019 and it would be lifetime free if the car was ordered before June 30, 2019 for the premium and long range models
Tesla extends free for life Premium Connectivity to more Australia and New Zealand customers
Bought it for my Model 3, used NoA and Auto Lane change coming home from a road trip. Was pretty amazing to have the car navigate around slowed cars without disengaging. Lane change on non NoA roads is also pretty amazing since I use AutoPilot a lot on city streets.
Tried AutoPark, works but...
What about the people that want to go right? There isn't a different Autopilot for each individual car, it's all the same comands.
FSD mentions that auto driving on city streets is coming soon, meaning it will take on Navigate on Autopilot type of behaviour where if you are going left, it will...
Just an update on above, I decided to try a steering wheel reset which seems to have fixed the issue, downloading 20.12 at the moment so must have been some bug which the fetch for two nights
Has anyone without FSD received an update to 20.12 or 20.13? I thought I may have been getting an update as the car was downloading something but it has now pulled 11gb and nothing over two days, no idea what it is doing? Download speed is odd as well, it’s always around 2Mbps, like it’s trickle...
Yeah I understand that, just found it interesting and thought to share. The idea of the car waking up then the software kicking in and turning the light off just got a chuckle.
Hi all,
I’ve seen discussions on this a bit regarding the footwell lights in the SR+ Model 3 and I just happened to catch this while going for my half n hour walk to check for the latest update (2020.12.11.1).
It seems that when the car wakes from sleep the footwell lights come on then turn...
It’s a bit tricky but you need to pop the 4 clips off first, I just did the bottom and slid it up but to be safe you can do all four. I just got it to clip off with my fingernail pulling towards me slightly from the top of the clip (where it meets the rest of the frame)
I have done the Plex way and it works, but can understand privacy concerns.
You used to be able to login to YouTube until someone discovered you can login to YouTube and then someone comes along, goes to Tesla.com and resets your password and then can access your Gmail from the car to reset the...
I do agree with you, just new car problems i think, used to my 99 Camry not being as wide. Went back the second time and just swung it wide and was easy. Just a lesson to take on board
4 days in we decided to go use a supercharger for the fun of it, got done exiting both right rear and front left, was a pretty bad time. Had some guys come out and repaired it at work a few days later for $260 (proautorepairs.com.au/ not affiliated or anything, but they did an awesome job and...
