Yes, there's a 180kw BC Hydro charger that has been delayed since Sept 2023 in Tumbler Ridge, all northern chargers are delayed for some reason

Just to say that a BC Hydro 180kw charger in Tumbler Ridge has been sitting completed now since fall 2023. BC Hydro is desperately slow and they keep pushing back dates for some reason.

Still no BC Hydro Meter, did a long distance road trip test in -27c from Prince George to McBride and back suffering on BC Hydro's 50 kw charger!

Looks like the meter is at at Clearwater but not on yet

Should have updated pics soon, but the Esso Station owner where these chargers are located says: The installation looks complete. Not sure why they aren't running yet.

Before making the trip to McBride I asked locals and they said right now there is nothing to see but piles of dirt, so its just started.

This is happening, I contacted McBride City earlier this year to confirm. I live close to McBride so next week I'll drop by to get pics of both McBride and Valemount BC!

I can confirm the older model is the issue. I have both the MYQ-G0201 and the new MYQ-G0401 and the 401 works perfectly fine whereas the 201 says access unavailable for closing the door

I just had both front wheel bearings done.. originally Tesla said not under warran ty, but I insisted asking them to 'prove it was something I did', finally they covered it. January 2020 AWD Model 3.

The new Tesla firmware DOES NOT block the adapter it jsut warns that it has an Arc flash danger.

There is a new firmware 166 which corrects the issue I am told.

What makes sense depends on your model, it does look like the Tesla CCS is the better option, however if you have any of the following conditions its a grey area: 1. Your model does not have the CCS chip (like my 2020 Model 3) in which case the kit and its installation may bump the cost higher...

Well its now Q3 and still no Tesla CCS adapter sold in north america. Its not a good strategy for Tesla to stop selling all high speed adapters since late last year as it causes havok and artificially raises prices in that market, they are selling the product in South Korea and yet its needed...

I could see a useful modification for the Setec if they are able to support old and new Tesla models.. old models without CCS chip fall back to chademo 50kw max and new do CCS1 passthrough to max speed, this would make the adapter useful for all Tesla models and not require the ccs1 chip upgrade...

A new firmware is being worked on to remove the message
