Spigen OneTap Designed for Tesla MagSafe Car Mount

Update: After about 1 year the adhesive has failed and keeps falling off. I didn't leave any residue though which is good but is unfortunate that the adhesive failed after 1 year and I can't find the replacement one that I had so I need to figure out what adhesive I can put on there to remount...

Tesla CCS Combo 1 Adapter - Comparison of Just a Few Possible Storage Options

Actually went and got one of the Daiso Box 6 as well, it works and fits good and is compact unlike some of the other options. Only downside is the clasp is kind of flimsy.

Installed! Austin MY C Pillars for Parcel Shelf

Yes, I noticed that I was missing one or two of these, I had to move one from the middle to the edges to get it to not be loose... Crazy that it is so expensive!! I can see why on my car they were missing for the 3-4 spots in the middle..

    CCS Adapter for North America

It should fit since it fit the Korean Tesla CCS adapter which is exactly the same as the Tesla one (I have both). but that case you linked to us out of stock, you can probably do a custom order from Harumio for one but it is $60 instead of $45. https://smartstore.naver.com/bleoh/products/6631524387

Tesla CCS Combo 1 Adapter - Comparison of Just a Few Possible Storage Options

You can find it on a Korean site, but Harumio wants $60 to special order one. I'm guessing there will be some on Amazon soon with the introduction of the adapter in the US. https://smartstore.naver.com/bleoh/products/6631524387 I think I will use my Uniden Radar detector case for the...

CCS Adapter is Now Available in the US Tesla Store

Saw a listing for this on eBay, surprising someone got a hold of one pretty quick. It's not the Korean version based on the part number.. But it seems to be made in Taiwan to it should be the same..

I changed my stripped ECU for a compatible one and I was able to place an order, it seems it is based off of the CCS Enabled Status..

    CCS Adapter - ?

Yes, the Tesla Korea one is rare now because you can't get one anymore, that is an excellent price.. Also the US adapter part number is 1656565-00-A and the Korea one is 1656565-10-A..

eBay, looks like one just sold for $450 + shipping, not a bad price. There were some on craiglist too though.

    CCS Adapter for North America

This is what I think happened as well, for example, they have 50k Tesla Cars in SK and they made 20k adapters but a majority were sold to NA so they had to clamp down to ensure they have enough stock for the SK market..

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Hope you get your adapter! I decided to pay up for an OEM one instead of buying from A2Z or Hansshow because of the price fixing and the fact that there is potentially a good amount of shilling going on here for A2Z…

Let me know if you are interested in selling, I might be interested depending on the price (willing to overpay but not at $700 though)... I can't believe I am saying this but my coworker fell victim to this seller. My coworker bought the listing from this seller that showed OEM box and...

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

This is going to turn into a interesting show, looks like someone bought a hansshow one on eBay for $500. Tesla needs to release their adapter or people are going to mistake the clone for the real one... https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/7040864/

    CCS Adapter - ?

Interesting, that looks like a Hansshow adapter box but it looks like a Tesla adapter (see the dimples) in the box.. It does look like the seller did sell an Tesla one on their sold listings, it seems kind of sketchy, hope for the best. Have to be more careful with eBay listings moving forward...

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

    Model Y - 1537264-00-B ECU Install

Just noticed you have a 2018 model, you probably need to get the bundle of wires as well, you plug it straight it. Here is more info on the retrofit: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/retrofit-ccs-compatibility-onto-earlier-na-model-3-diy-approach.251046/

    Model Y - 1537264-00-B ECU Install

No, you won't be able to charge if you don't have an update, you will get a whole bunch of error messages which only can be resolved if you software update.

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Maybe one of these 3rd party ones will have an issue and give Tesla bad press to force them fo release the Oem one in NA..
  42. U

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Like UL or ETL certification. The OEM one was certified in Korea. https://www.safetykorea.kr/release/certDetail?certNum=ZZ07011-20001&certUid=5048177
  43. U

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Yeah I am definitely considering the Harumio one at $230 and the Hansshow one at $213 but the problem is, I don't think these adapters are certified at all so it is definitely risky.. Still on the hold out of an OEM one..
  44. U

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Looks like there are many of the chargerman ones popping up on eBay now. Tesplus also has lowered their price to $249.99 and if you use a discount code it can be as low as $212.50.
