The good news for me is my powerwalls seem to be performing well with 24.12.3. It's possible they wrote that email a few weeks ago and forgot to send it. I've had that tier 3 case open for a few months.
I received this email from Tesla on Thursday regarding a Toer 3 issue I've been having. It doesn't seem to match the latest software you have received.
This is Tesla Powerwall Team, hoping this e-mail finds you well.
Our Powerwall Service Engineering Team (Tier 3) has recently conducted a...
I find most of my disengagements these days are navigation problems. This is just one of the problems in my neighborhood, navigation has you doing a u-turn as apposed ro a protected left turn.
This number is still correct. They have been very helpful with me…..i too was trying the project manager but as soon as you get PTO they are worthless.
12.3.6 has been so much better on my daily drive. It makes the correct lane choice much earlier than before. It's also stopped slamming on the brakes if the light turns amber. As previously posted most of my interventions now are when I feel I don't want to inconvenience other drivers on the...
I invested in PPF right away and four years later it's still perfect.i only got it because the rocks in Austin are terrible, now I've moved back to San Diego I wouldn't buy PPF again.
I am new to solar and batteries. I'm an SDGE customer and everything I read says I should be able to sign up on the App, but I don't have any link. I've reinstalled the app with no luck. Does anyone know if the program is still available?
Agreed. I have yet to see any video of the car doing anything that dangerous. The only real issues I have had are clearly seen on the route the car is trying to take. I feel the car is driving fantastically but is let down with the route planner
Pairing is easy….go stand next to a powerwall. On your phone select pair, it will say ready to pair. Then turn the powerwall off and back on. That's it.
I have a clip where I was almost killed by a driver overtaking where there wasn’t room. The video doesn’t remotely show the danger I felt in. I would say the car did a fantastic job and he feels like it saved him.
Funny how there are so many different opinions. I’ve had it one day. I did four drives and so far zero interventions. I basically never had a zero intervention drive prior to this unless it was extremely short. It’s not perfect by any means but it’s a big jump in the right direction. I’ve had...
My first drive was zero intervention, zero peddle push… perfect. I had a U-turn and had a message, please assist unable to complete maneuver, but it did it like a pro
I was lucky enough to find a fresh download waiting for me this morning. Will this be the version my wife won’t be looking for the brake peddle in the passenger seat?
A nice review on the car. I went and test drove a model S last week and they had a new Highland so I drove them both. have an older model 3 and the upgrade was significant and liked the Highland more than the S. They really did a nice upgrade.
A quick update regarding my PW3’s.
I received PTO a couple of days ago and since SDGE has allowed my system to export to the grid my PW’s are performing perfectly. I had a open issue with Tesla and I have no idea if they pushed a software update or it’s all coincidental but all is good and I...
Today I received PTO today and as soon as I slid the permission to export it immediately drained both PW3’s to zero and today I have produced 35Kw and it’s all gone to the grid.
I received an email from level 2 support. They have looked at my powerwalls and seen they drop to 79% quickly because of high loads. So as I sit here on hold ( they gave me a number if I have questions) my first question is what incredible charge rate was I getting to jump from 79% to 89% within...
I haven’t gone all the way to zero but I did drop them to 6%…. Honestly in the last few days they seem to be working properly. I’m seeing charge rates in the 80’s. The ticket is still open and I’m still going to let Tesla look into it. One of the people I spoke to thought it might need a...
I have 2x PW3 and I’m having something similar. It will jump from 79% charged to 98% charged immediately and do exactly the same when the battery is being used jumping from indicating 98% to 79%.
Tesla had me turn off the batteries and then my panel for 5 minutes and then turn on the panel and...
I’ve been around both although never been charged by an elephant. I’m from South Africa and go back every year so safaris are always on the must do list whenever possible.
Terrible car for a game drive. I’ve done plenty and Lions are the only ones that give you a very uneasy feeling. Taking a young child is normally a no go when I’ve been on safari drives even in a large open vehicle.
I’ve noticed my PW3’s go from showing 79% to 98% and skip everything in between. This happens in both directions. As you can see from the two photos late in the afternoon with very slow production.
Does anyone have any suggestions
Only because that’s what Tesla says:
How Powerwall Provides Backup Power
When a utility power outage does occur, your Powerwall instantly disconnects from the grid and restores backup power to your home in a fraction of a second, over one hundred times faster than typical standby generators...
I had a power failure the other night and woke up to all the clocks flashing. I checked the app and we had two failures. Since I’m new to Powerwalls I thought my 3’s would not have a power break. Does anyone know if this is normal?
that looked like a nasty impact. Amazing how well these cars do in crashes. I hope that idiot has great insurance and you are back up and running in a new Model X in no time at all.
It’s been a year so I’m wondering how you guys are doing? I just installed solar with 2x powerwalls. I also own an EV and I’m signed up for EV-TOU 5. I can change my plan at the end of the month, if I need to but I’m such a rookie I have no idea yet what’s the best plan out there. If anyone has...
I want the model 2 to be rather understated. I have a couple boys that will need a safe car in the next few years and I want a safe “cheap” car that doesn’t scream I’m privileged.. Tesla still has a reputation of being a rich persons car.
