No shipping , local sale so it's quick. Thought I would use them but they have been sitting for over 8 months. If you are local and need to buy these anyways save on tax, shipping and a few bucks. $720 for both can meet in the bay area. Price is firm. Thanks for looking.

    Aftermarket Brake Calipers for LR

I got lucky and someone was selling a complete set of performance brake kit and swapped over instead. Only other thing needed was the brake shield on a LR was too small.

pics of 19" vs 20" rims on the Y?

Lowered on mpp coilovers. 19x10.5 with 22et in the back with 275/50/19 19x 9.5 in front with 245/45/19 No issues with curbing, and like I said it's nice having a meaty sidewall.

Potholes and roads are a bit harsher up here in the bay area.

pics of 19" vs 20" rims on the Y?

I chose to stay19s in an effort to just find some forged lightweight options while keeping my tires as meaty as possible.

    275/45-19 Tires

275 /45/19 Dws06 plus in the rears. Fronts only running 255/45/19 not squared. I do love the beefy look and ride. Super smooth.

Mountain Pass Performance Confort Coilovers for Tesla Model Y SoCal

Cost isn't majorly greator from what I recall, about 4k for basic without the cool gear but someone else can chime in. I've always had suspension from BMW to Audis. There is something about the adversity of seeing a speedbump or driveway and maneuvering side ways. Lol, I guess I am old school...

For sure there is negative camber. I recent swapped to the performance brakes so gained a bit of clearance and will try a more squared tire. Most likely the conti dws06 plus. Then I can finally pull the camber straight with one mpp arms.

It took a hit but I wasn't really counting as we were planning middle stops for the kids and dog to get out and stretch anyways. I'll see if I can record some numbers on the way back.

No load surprisingly. But usually uy doesn't sit that low. I am thinking the uneven roads might have something to do with it. Or visual tricks.

Road Trip Experience + Roof Cargo Box Efficiency

@msc777 did you feel the Thule clamps didn' "grip" the stock Yakima rails well? I love the way the box is engineered from the lock mechanism on but those clamps are supposed to cross over I believe as Thule rails are square tubes. I'm debating if it's worth going to Yakima box to better...

Are you happier with the ride and feel with the MPP? What was on previously? It looks good.

    Aftermarket wheels

Don't forget the tires too. LRR tires will play a factor. The sticker the tires the less efficient.
  38. E

    Thule Roof Cargo Box Size?

I wanted to add a picture for people for reference if they are looking at the Thule Motion XT L. The profile is a tad higher then I wanted and for 16cu versus the Motion Alpine I might considered swapping over for a more sleeker box. None of my items tend to be bulky in height, more in...

    Aftermarket wheels

I feel in reading all the various post, with this crowd of drivers there is not one "type" of owner who make decisions on wheels. I would say most take some level of consideration into their actions taken and what the effects will be. The reality is we are driving an EV and that has something...

    Aftermarket wheels

The crazy part is now discontinued, they will fetch a pretty penny and you can use that to fund your " wheel fund".

    Aftermarket wheels

This is my 3rd EV coming from a first Gen leaf to a volt and now a model y. I absolutely took into account the weight and made sure I got something forged and light. I learned with the leaf where I put some heavier Work wheels on and it killed my range so I went to the lightest I could find...

    Why PPF?

Just an FYI, you can. Buy a full painted bumper skin direct from Tesla for 1200. It was for a model 3 but I can't imagine a Y being that much more
