FS: Wall Charger, Chademo Adapter, 3/Y Key Fob, 14-50 Adapter, 3 Frunk Mat, Jack Pucks

Just recently sold my Tesla because I needed a truck so I picked up a Rivian. Got a few Accessories for sale. Everything works fine. All prices are shipped. Tesla Wall Charger - 18ft - $375 - In original box. Was installed on the wall, so the back "hole" is punched out for wall install...

They won't mark up the price of the Hummer .. but that 20k processing fee is gonna hurt.

Issue with the NOA suggested lane changes

The most common time it kept trying to move into the right lane right next to an entrance ramp. The exit I needed to take was a couple miles down the road, so I know why it was trying to get over but it's a two lane highway so being in the left lane isn't a big deal. Trying to switch Lanes into...

    Ticket for Lane change

Yes and no. Varies by state. In most, You are allowed to make the assumption that a car is going the speed limit when determining the allowed distance to make a lane change. If a person is going well over the speed limit and hit you due to that lane change, that's on them. In fact in some...

Issue with the NOA suggested lane changes

Just have to agree to disagree. NOA made my commute more painful because I was constantly having to tell the car No. Even worse is the car was like a toddler and kept asking after telling it No over and over. Then eventually you just give in and get in a lane that doesn't make sense in order to...

Issue with the NOA suggested lane changes

Yup that's actually really useful to me. Makes lane changes super easy. Don't have to mess with the pedals at all
  9. S

Issue with the NOA suggested lane changes

Yup it's far from useful at this point. Just leave it on autopilot and tell it when you want to change.

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Like I said magic that it works then. So if they just update the manual.. poof ... Autosteer on city streets is complete per their definition of autosteer that they list on their site.
  11. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Cool I guess it's magic that it works 100% according to the definition on city streets. Seriously how many times can you be wrong. It's rather impressive
  12. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Here is the official definition from Tesla's website "Autosteer: Assists in steering within a clearly marked lane, and uses traffic-aware cruise control" So it doesn't "kinda sorta work there"... It works on city streets. So at any point now, if Tesla wanted to say FSD was "complete" so they...
  13. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

I'm actually curious exactly what " Autosteer on city streets is". By the way they define autosteer on highways ... It's already capable of doing that on city streets and does even in basic Autopilot. I do believe they had promised more of that in the past. The rebranding could just be so they...
  14. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

I don't. Just certain people like to make it out like if you don't buy FSD you are a complete idiot. Just giving them crap back. Right now the value prop for FSD over AP just isn't there and isn't close. That's my opinion. If you are buying on the promise of something that isn't delivered...

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

How else is he going to be able to constantly reassure himself that he didn't make the wrong choice in buying FSD
  16. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Enjoy constantly trying to justify giving Tesla an interest free loan for a product that doesn't exist yet! Hopefully they don't keep releasing features that move the product backwards (stoplight interaction).
  17. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

It's not a real feature until it exists. I guess limiting you to exactly the speed limit (dangerous) and stopping you at EVERY light no matter whether it's red, green or completely turned off is real too. Right now it's a net negative feature... Period. Maybe that will change in the future.. I'm...
  18. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

I'm not having it both ways. I'm gauging both as full packages. Right now the only useful feature is auto lane changes. So that's what i focused on. The rest of the stuff is a net negative IMO. Like you said, value to each is subjective. Lane changes aren't worth 7k in my opinion...
  19. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Bolded part I 100% agree with. I think most that have passed on FSD for base autopilot just disagree with the rest of it. Even in your scenario. Your 30 minute commute that is 5 minutes of driving with FSD, would be maybe 8 minutes of driving with base autopilot. I doubt you spend more...
  20. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Not gonna argue it anymore because it has absolutely nothing to do with my original post. You wanna say that it costs 3k for AP fine. Then FSD is 10k. There is still a 7k upgrade cost (now 8k as of today) which was the entire freaking point of the post. I'm not arguing semantics and i wasn't...

    Emergency stop threshold

I've said before the TACC is WAY too sensitive to certain things (like people turning across in front of you). It likes to slam on the brakes when I personally wouldn't have even let off the accelerator if I was driving. I have noticed twice that it seems to not like certain turning lanes...

Blog Tesla Discounts Basic Autopilot – $2,000 Until July 1

I bought both the Acceleration Boost and FSD upgrade yesterday to try both out. I'm returning the FSD today. Acceleration boost is worth every penny IMO. Though - if I didn't have AP, I'd drop 2k on it also.
  23. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

The true driver comment was more a sarcastic comment due to the fact that someone was throwing that term around saying you weren't a "true driver" unless you paid 7k to have your car changes lanes for you.
  24. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

If you have no other option than to buy it .. it's part of the price .. so it's zero more. Zero=free. Sorry, but stop arguing semantics. I know that's tough for you because you LIVE to pick fights on the internet when you are generally wrong most of the time.
  25. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

I like how you linked a post from April 11th, 2019 ... about a change you said didn't exist in March 2020. Nice going and thanks for 100% proving my point while proving yourself wrong in the process.... seems to be a trend for you.
  26. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

That argument ignores that you can get 90% of the work commute driven for you with 0 cost on a new Model 3. That's the point. I'd agree yet again that having no automation in the base would make the 7k 100% worth it. It's not worth 7k to avoid having to change lanes myself, which is the only...
  27. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

So in March 2020, I had an option of buying a LR AWD without Autopilot? What's that? No I didn't. My only options were a $0 add-on of Autopilot and a $7k addon of FSD? So i guess it really was free .... it's no extra charge. Stop with the "technically" stuff. If you wanna say it's 3k for...
  28. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

A true "Driver" would never even think about the FSD package as they would want to drive themselves.
  29. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

Eh and the price was dropped from what it was in the past. I did not pay any extra for it. It was free.
  30. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

If I had no automation, I'd say 7K for FSD would be worth it. But I have Autopilot included for free. To me the gap in usable functionality between base Autopilot and FSD isn't close to 7K in value. I think like a 3K option for what used to be EAP is the perfect middle option. I really wish...

Subpar Model 3 Delivery Experience in DFW

Curious .. What structure don't they support? Also, why does Tesla have a say? When you do private lending, Tesla just gets a check.
  33. S

Will you buy FSD before the $1,000 increase on July 1st?

I did add it to my account today to see if it had improved enough from the last time I tried it justify jumping on it before it goes up. Right now the answer is no. I still have about 44 hours left in my return policy, so I'll give it a day or so. I still think base autopilot covers about...

    Urgh...my new car

This ... pretty much all of this. You come in with a negative mindset, you will find reason to hate ANY car. Folds and Welds? Do you really check those on every car you buy? I've never heard anyone mention those. And yes every person I've let in my car started looking them up to see if...

    No garage door opener?

I believe the bolded part is only if you have FSD. I have homelink in my M3 and I do not have that option in the app. I think it was discussed before that it was only on FSD cars.

Tesla Model 3 Used Car Values

You place an order in August/September, you will get the car by the end of September. 8-12 Weeks is a beginning of quarter time frame as they deliver most in the last month of the quarter. With Model Y ramping up, you very well could get paired with a car within a week of placing an order.

Subpar Model 3 Delivery Experience in DFW

Due to the stupid legal requirements in Texas yes. In every other state they are allowed to operate normally .. It's 23804982309482309 times better than dealing with a shady dealer.
  38. S

Subpar Model 3 Delivery Experience in DFW

I think this is less about Private lending than it is about Texas's rules and how they have to deliver there. They need full payment upfront before doing anything else. Private lending for me was Getting MVPA Providing it to my Credit Union They paid off my trade in that was financed through...

Well there’s a thing, sudden unintended acceleration just happened to me

In my case it's done this multiple times. Not the acceleration part but the no Regen part. It's not accidently bumping anything. Definitely a system bug/issue but no idea what triggers it as I can't duplicate it on demand
  41. S

Well there’s a thing, sudden unintended acceleration just happened to me

Question. Did it actually accelerate? Or did the regenerative braking not kick in. I've had the same scenario but instead of it acclerating it just felt like the regen braking just never triggered causing me to continue at my current speed when i was expecting to slow down. It was always in a...

Tesla got the worst score in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey

They aren't though. That particular Tesla store doesn't own any of those cars. They don't lose profit when then sit on the lot. They don't get paid less when they don't move cars. Dealerships do. They already bought the car and need to move it or their profit drops. They get paid less if...

Tesla got the worst score in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey

All those other manufacturers have a middle man that is vested in fixing problems before it makes it to the customer.... The dealerships. It the other manufacturers have things slip through the factory, they can fix them before a customer sees them. They don't want to get stuck with a car, so...

How is the quality control of the recent model 3s being delivered?

Picked mine up beginning of March. The issues I found were: Scratch on the side mirror cap - Likely in transit - Was popped off and replaced on the spot Dirty spots on the white seats - Cleaned on the spot Some small clear coat bubbling that I didnt' see but was found by the shop that did my...

Will Elon give Autopilot free for 2018 or early 2019 buyers

It's longer when the Speed Limit above 55-60 (can't remember exact cut off) DO NOT hang weights or anything .. that could prevent you from actually moving the wheel when you need to. What I do is rest my hand on one side of bottom of the wheel (to the left or right of the bottom peg). It's...

EAP to FSD upgrade price drop by $1k. Will be $3k until July 1st

Yup, the middle priced EAP is the best combo/value for the most people IMO. It's too bad recent buyers didn't get the chance to buy it. I tweeted it to Elon .. but wasn't the lucky one to get a reply ha!
