Update my 10% loss on SR turned out to be 0% loss on SR+ upgrade.. Instead of 220 miles I had 200-203, now I have full 240 miles.. It seems battery forgets right values in 12 month 16,500 miles..

Not even EAP, my BAP drives great in complete black out rain where I can't see anything at night.. it's a power of NNs..

Driver doesn't move but the car says "Needs to stop" then goes to manual.. Tesla AP handles same type of rain with no disengagements..

I think this is local delivery center screwup, most of the centers are a little better than this.. But it seems people are not very well trained by Tesla..

Actually it's not a 1000 miles, it's a 400kWh, so on SR for example it's more like 1500 miles..

You will get about 120 miles..

That's normal Tesla assembly style lol :) I hope it's better when it comes out..

It only shows motor kWh.. other things like heater, sentry, phantom, audio etc etc is going to eat a lot..

UPDATE 4: It has been about a 3 weeks and my range climbed up to 240 miles! This is with 16,500 miles and before the upgrade I only would get 200-203 miles max. So by paying $5k for the upgrade I got +40 miles! p.s. Autopilot is super useful even on 25 mph city streets!

You have to pay sales tax.. I like my wider 235 tires instead of new 225s, love the bigger center console and old piano finish, car looks more upscale than a visible rubber mat. Love my larger frunk with very useful grocery hooks so stuff is not flying around etc etc.

Probably cars others refused because of the panel gaps, minor imperfections etc.. I've accepted mine with little things like that last year.. I'd rather drive it than wait more lol :)

What do you mean? If Tesla certifies less hp and different Voltage I'm pretty sure it's not something trivial.. Also explains the range bump..

20-30 miles is a difference between 14 hours road trip and 16 hours.. huge difference. You pay for so many miles because you know you need it, and if like in my case car lost 20 miles in 10 month 200 out of 220 it's not good. This means I go to one spot, then I need to go to another but can't...

It seems the HV battery is different voltage is 360V instead of 350V. Also motor lost ~15hp and is less powerful..

Rear doors on my M3 always looked like that, never bothered me (I knew they can only screw it up more) but recently I noticed rear glass was hitting the back quarter glass because the door was so out of alignment. Mobile tech fixed the glass but said he can't do actual door alignment out here...

I was thinking the same thing, also for SR there is no way to fully charge the battery to 100% so with time it seems range becomes wildly wrong. Mine shows 200 miles instead of 220 at only 15,000 miles..

It all depends on the battery state, my SR was supposed to be 220 when new, it actually was 210-215 under normal conditions, couple times charged to 221. Now after 15,000 miles it shows 200 miles at 100 SOC. I believe in SR+ you would never actually see 250 or 263..

Just in case anyone wondering, just talked to my local Delivery center (Tampa) SR to SR+ still $5k, you get a discount if you got EAP.

I think it will have new cameras and sensors as needed, for example HW3 can't detect low objects, so FSD is not possible..

I visited local Service center and there were literally 3 cars on lifts and half of lifts available.. My service took 12 mins.. But I guess Orlando SC is more congested..

You should definitely contact Tesla management and report this experience to them, up to tweeting at @elonmusk . Second physically go to your Service center and talk to a Manager. After talking with Manager ask what is the extension number for service. My experience was "Delivery" telling me...

Keep in mind SOC displayed by the battery symbol is just a % multiplied by a constant.. It is not affected by anything other than % of battery charge and Tesla coded constant.. With every update this seems to fluctuate about 10%. Tesla is changing this back and forth for reasons unknown.

I think Tesla is constantly changing how SOC is displayed with almost every update.. My SR (base) was showing 216-219 when new, in about 1000mi started showing 211-2016, then after an update it went to 219-222 (Rated at 220), latest 2020.4 update and now it sits at 210-216..

Where is that installed exactly? Is that an actual module or just a software update?
