No. the end of the wiper kind of springs up and hits the plastic piece my finger is on when it leaves the 'parked' position. The part where it actually wedges itself is a little further up from my finger.

50 amp downsize complete. I wish I had a torque screw driver extension though that could easily reach the square breaker screw without hitting the plastic. Eaton breakers don’t make it easy. I nearly strip the screw out every time

I'm in Colorado with a July 2020 MYLR and the heat pump has always worked great. Yesterday got a VCFRONT_a531 error. The SC's estimate says they are going to replace both the compressor and super manifold. That seems intense. The heat is still working somewhat (I'm not sure exactly how 'bad' it is).

Plus even if an electrician is liable, a fire isn’t fun for anyone.

This sure doesn't make it easy to get that 50 amp breaker (HD and Lowes are the same) ! I'm hesitant to buy a critical piece of gear from a fly by night Amazon seller too.
