I was looking into this over the weekend, and I still don't quite understand how they calculate how much you should earn during the "don't charge" period. How can they know how much energy you would have hypothetically used?

Went by today. No signs of things still being worked on other than some caution tape a huge pile of trash at the back. I also could not find a meter/a spot for a meter to help indicate if service had been hooked up yet.

I do think there is a valid concern that even if other companies add NACS connectors to their stations, Tesla Superchargers will continue to be the most popular/reliable places to charge and therefore at risk of crowding.

Correct, WA requires both front and back. They should include the front mount somewhere in the car (frunk, under trunk, trunk, etc.). Maybe the SA will have time to get service to put it on before they drive it to you. Worst case, you make a service appointment to get it done if you aren't...

It comes with the car. We had the service center put it on during delivery. It is held in with adhesive tape though, so if you're wanting to take it off for pictures at a later date, either don't put it on until you're ready or buy an after market one that is not so permanent.

SA switched us to a service center pickup, but now tesla.com/schedule is showing no appointments. But I would assume next week still applies. We were also able to get a VIN from the SA over text.
