Tomorrow at 1PM PDT we will be discussing the latest Tesla Shareholder Meeting on the TMC Podcast. You can watch live on YouTube or X and participate in the chat.
V4 cabinets are being installed today. Interesting to see them standing; not all of them but three, as 12:30 pm this afternoon.
The installation crew was busy. I didn't take pictures. Maybe later this afternoon or evening? I'm sure this site will be back online soon and we will all enjoy...
4/16 it was still just trenches and broken conduit with more busted/broken conduit to be removed. No Tesla equipment on site. Not much else to see or report about.
Photos of the plans.
It’s needed, major splitter.
They may begin work at about the 180 day mark. That seems about the time it takes to get things started.
🧐very bad form to remove a charging cable and wrap it over the top of the pedestal indicating that the charging stall is not operational……. WHEN IT IS OPERATIONAL!! …. and you know the stall is operational! Unwrap it and holster the charging cable! No excuses! None!
This is the circuit board that is being replaced with a larger/different one to facilitate NACS…. to have compatibility with other manufacturers vehicles. They are all being replaced at Grant Rd Mtn. View CA which is still not open. I’m guessing this will have to be done at every other pedestal...
It’s a guess on my part. I’m just thinking this will have to occur across all sites over time. I don’t know how else the pedestal would be able to communicate properly with whatever vehicle type was requesting to charge.
Ah yes!! You’re correct.
I should have stated that the hardware switch out pictured here in post #5 is of the Mountain View (Grant Rd) CA supercharger.
I was wondering how will we know if this site here or (any site) will have the NACS electronic circuit boards inside, making the site...
There is no way to tell by looking at the charging pedestals if the new hardware allowing multiple manufacturers to charge there is incorporated. I’m sure Tesla will announce it once the tens of thousands of pedestals have completed the hardware switch out.
💭💭Magic docks are dead💭💭
NACS...
Pedestal hardware switch out is under way.
New NACS hardware replacing old hardware.
New hardware will accommodate all vehicle manufacturers that are licensed by Tesla.
This hardware necessary to complete ‘the handshake’ for all manufacturers. The hardware is inside the supercharger...

Awaiting transformer.
Awaiting charging posts.
Posts may be in production with new NACS hardware. That may be why they are not installed yet. … this hardware change will make charging post multi-vehicle manufacturer capable. Magic docks are dead in my opinion.
Wooden place holders for...

Ima thinking 💭….. as we wait for a transformer (s)….. that Tesla is sending out crews to perform hardware switch outs, making each charging pedestal NACS -handshake/ capable so that when these stations go live, they will be available to any NACS vehicle regardless of maunfacture...
Each pedestal is having a hardware change out to make them NACS handshake capable. Eventually making magic docks unnecessary. (Magic docks are probably going away; my guess). The new pedestal hardware will make each of these charging stalls compatible (complete the handshake) with all new NACS...
Superchargers may go here.?
8 parking spots are here ….photos… 90° from this is where 4 more may go. This location to be a 12 stall supercharging location. Check plan picture.
Overhead lighting is already in place.
Interesting::: Along Signal Butte, in front Sprouts etc. are several...
I think it will be…..and should always be first come first serve for any electric vehicle that arrives at a Tesla supercharger.
Adapters for now but, adapters will go the way of the dodo bird as manufacturers incorporate NACS ports into their vehicles. So superchargers will need to become...
1 stall appears to be inoperative. 1C.
½ of an overhead LED light Is out.
Tire stops? There are no tire stops in place.
2 Trash cans are on the gravel island closest to Dollar Tree. Another trash can by the enclosed cabinets.
Looks like a wi-fi receiver on a light pole.
Quick wi-fi here!
A few...
The transformer(s) is/are in place. Humming.
Fencing has been removed.
Asphalt slurried/striped.
One overhead double LED parking light out.
Great progress.

As you face the Large Walmart logo, it’s about 150 yards to your right, in front of Dollar Tree.
Great wi-fi. Loaded photos...
How’s the rainy weather treating construction, grounds and the lot next door? Anyone go by there regularly? It’s been a while since I’ve been in the area.
Anyone on a snow mission today?❄️❄️
Got a phone camera?
I’d love to see some ‘Snow Mission’ pictures of this Tesla supercharger station with what, I imagine, is a serious, over the top amount of snow! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Well, we’ve got to get out there from time to time and check for progress. 800 N 54th St Chandler AZ should be next = my guess!
The permit has been around for a while…. 🥴
I checked the 8 others and there’s only a few ground markings….. 😎
Ground markings.
Behind The Circle K.
I don’t think it will be up against the building.
Black slurried stalls up against the Lowe’s property line is more likely.
Lighting already in place.
Rapid wi-fi.
Take a look!
